Hello. Thanks for your time and effort making great, easy to follow content. I've been following you for the past 2 years, since owning my 2018 q50 silver sport. I wanted to give a little bit of history of my car, by saying it's a clean title 3 owner that I picked up at around 17,000 miles. Last year, I had turbos replaced, under warranty. At the same time, my son, owner of a 2019 Reedsport, was having his motor and turbos replaced, under warranty, for the infamous, now, porous block! That I'm sure followers of your channel and your self, are aware of. Anyways, about 30,000 miles on my turbos, at that point and 50,000 on my son's motor turbos combo. Today, my car sits at my local Infinity dealership... Yep, awaiting a motor turbos combo. For the cheep price of around 50,000 miles. Love... heartache... and hope, for a car that needs a long overdue upgrade, in a lot of ways.
I got a 3.7 just like yours 2015 premium black and silver and black interior you help me so much with fixing my car and learning how it works and what to do and not to do
Springfield, VT? I have family that lives there! I'm in NH. I have a '13 G37x with K&N drop-ins, SCS exhaust, and stage 1 ECUTEK tune, and I love it. No, I don't have a ton more power, but there is more. I like the expanded rev limiter range and I could be imagining it, but I feel like my gears are shifting a little tighter. The car sounds amazing too. I've never had it on a Dyno, but I know it feels faster than when I first got it. For me, it was worth it.
Haven’t got tuned yet I’ve got Berk res Test pipes and SCS custom exhaust car runs perfect but will want tuning after adding some z1 intakes if anything
I’ve telling ppl for years the only way the make your vq35,37 de,hr, or vhr quick is to boost it either supercharger or turbocharger (supporting mods and tune)
Do i need a tune with just a lower downpipe upgrade. I got the whole exhaust line to install just up to the lower downpipe. Wondering if i will still need a tune or not?
To benefit full from the modification you’ll want to tune it, yes. If you’re asking if you can drive it temporarily, then I’m sure it’ll drive ok if not tuned right away
I would say no. The car already brings in as much air as it can handle. If you were doing cams then yes, but we haven’t seen much advantage for the upper and lowers.
What about tuning a 3.5 NA Hybrid q50. Its a 2014. I feel like since the car scene is switching over to hybrid/electric, i feel like about now there could be tuners for these hybrid platforms.
Not really any tuning options at this point. Maybe with advances as you mentioned, doors will be opened, but really haven’t seen anything up to this point.
Miss this channel man, sold my q50 this past summer, got a n54 now but always come back to see your videos on the Q50 platform!
I have n54 videos on the channel too lol. It’s not just a q50 channel!
@@SpeedCultureStudios oh yeah ive seen all those too man, probably watched all the Q50 videos when you had it back then too :)

Wow that’s very unfortunate!
Just paid off my Q and saw a new vid! It hits different when it’s fully yours!
Lol that’s awesome!

Awesome! Loved Vermont. I love NH too actually.

STILLEN VQ37 Supercharger Complete System - Q50 Sedan 3.7L

Love your vids keeping it practical to the HP vs Money
Thanks for checking in!
Hey bro I love ur vids I was wondering if you could possible do one about the VVEL system on the 3.7 please
Not a bad idea. Anything specific you’d like covered
@@SpeedCultureStudios maybe just how the vvel works and maybe basic maintenance tips or if there’s anything that can be done with tuning
I’ve telling ppl for years the only way the make your vq35,37 de,hr, or vhr quick is to boost it either supercharger or turbocharger (supporting mods and tune)
What’s a good turbo to go with the 3.7 q50?
Hey man is it true if I tune my q50 I have to also change the stock cats ? Or can I leave cats alone
But what about supercharger kit for 3,7? Also single?
Not many options but the 3.7 makes great power with a Superchsrger!
Just got my 2015 Q50 totaled & I’m looking on getting something a little different any suggestions?? Or should I get the 3.0?
I have a 2014 3.7 Q50, what mods do you recommend that I can do that are affordable and will keep it pretty reliable. With a tune?
Check out the channel sometime! Lots of videos discussing suggested mods

What's the reliability of the 3.0T? I trust the 3.7 to go 200k lol
Same I’ve heard the 3.7 is a great motor. Don’t wanna deal with a blown turbo on the 3.0t..
It’s still a great platform especially the newer ones. Maintenance is key
is it worth getting a upper and lower manifold and 3in intakes on a 3.7 q50?
I would say no. The car already brings in as much air as it can handle. If you were doing cams then yes, but we haven’t seen much advantage for the upper and lowers.
What wheels are you running they are cleannnn
These are forgestar f14 from @motorsports_la
@@SpeedCultureStudios thanks for the quick reply dude 👍
@@SpeedCultureStudios size? And suspension? Your fitment is moneyyyyy
@@DslowEats 19x9.5 +29. Check out my fitment video for all the details. It’s setup pretty damn well haha.
Yes it is 468 to the wheels on my RS
Full bolt ons
I hope it doesn’t blow the engine 🤣🤣
Nah it’s on a safe tune
still good?
in 2024 is a 3.0t 2015 the move?
The 2015 is a 3.7 not 3.0t

Got the same question
