But no one does their research and actually looks at the solid evidence pointing that Timothy’s story doesn’t match up at all and every time she talks about it she changes some aspect of it to suit her current needs. It’s sad to see so many people who are ignorant enough to not look up the facts for themselves and keep a bias view on everything. I listen to Melanie, and have listened to her for a long while. But when the Timothy thing hit it shook me. As someone who went through a lot of trauma I empathized. But then I saw what she was posting and saying about the whole ordeal and the story never matched up at all ether. Sometimes it’s better to keep a level head than to lead on things with your feelings, cuz you can really be at risk of getting taken advantage of. I think youre right about the vocal damage using the breathy baby voice because towards the end of the crybaby era her live performances just werent up to par as the beginning and over the past few years she’s been seeing a vocal coach
she was also sick a lot during her performances, so she had some vocal damage. but she has gotten so much better. i saw her for k-12 and her voice is how it was at the beginning of the crybaby era.
The breathiness of her voice is natural, I think. I think she has the same issue Emma Stone has - where people who had severe colic as a baby tend to have strained natural voices. I think Melanie has been able to work around it.

Most of the performances you watched she's going through her album cycle and it really took a toll on her vocal chords and other performances are post The Voice competition.
She pushed her voice a lot though her album tour,she's a very determined singer and she's great at what she does.

I think youre right about the vocal damage using the breathy baby voice because towards the end of the crybaby era her live performances just werent up to par as the beginning and over the past few years she’s been seeing a vocal coach
she was also sick a lot during her performances, so she had some vocal damage. but she has gotten so much better. i saw her for k-12 and her voice is how it was at the beginning of the crybaby era.

The breathiness of her voice is natural, I think. I think she has the same issue Emma Stone has - where people who had severe colic as a baby tend to have strained natural voices. I think Melanie has been able to work around it.
