I so appreciate a gardener and gardening channel who shows how one can garden around their beloved dogs. Jenny your love for your German Shepherd and her love of you is precious. We can all live and love our dogs and have a spectacular garden.
Weather events can ruin a garden which will upset us but in your case you wanted everything to be beautiful for the upcoming wedding. My heart cried for you because you had put in so much work prior to the storm and now you had to reassess and redo. I was very impressed with your attitude in tackling such a monumental task.
Blessings to you and all your friends and family.
Jenny, don't stress. The wedding party and guests will be preoccupied on the day. The garden will recover.
Many years ago, our dog, Max, caught a baby bunny in the backyard! He was carrying it so gently and was so proud of himself! I don't think he wanted to eat it, I think he wanted to adopt it! 🐩 ❤ 🐇 😊
❤❤❤
Gotta love Brynna! She does NOT give up! 🐰🐇
Good to see you smiling and getting on with repairs and garden additions, Jenny!!
Good job Brenna! I have lots of bunny pressure in my urban garden. My German Shepherd wasn’t as motivated as Brenna, but his mere presence kept them a little bit in check. Now that he’s gone, the bunnies have settled in and brought their friends.
Oh my goodness!
Limbing up the Forest Pansy!
I hadn’t realized until you started how much it was hiding
Looks amazing! ❤
I can imagine right now you are working off of mama mode trying to get everything back in order, I would double up on the videos and after the wedding you and hubby need a vacation straight to the Caribbean Islands where there's nothing but sand and beach. Thoughts N Prayers are with you guys
I have been soo overwhelmed as we have for us a quite new garden and last spring I got ill. Nothing have been weeded since then. 😱 There are big areas that we clearad out before my illness that now is just completely filled with weeds in between the few plants we planted then. All the naughty weeds that you can think of! 😩 So nice to hear your advice! How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time. 👌 So that is what I will do with that big elephant in my garden. Tackle it one bite at at a time… 👍 I feel empowered by that 💪 Bless You 💚
The weeds will wait for you! Enjoy your garden and weed as you are able.
@@SMElder-iy6fl I know that the weeds won’t wait for me! They will run off and make babies and then it will be a 100 times more work next summer! Like they say on GW; Get on top of the weeds before they get on top of you! I am overwhelmed but I am hanging in there! 😬😉
Oh. Two bunnies means…. A LOT of bunnies at the end of the summer. 🤭
I know 😫
It’s going to be so beautiful for the wedding and your other events, already is!
That pitcher plant is super cool and looks like it is thriving! I'm surprised that it held up so well in the storm! Brynna did a great job tracking down that bunny! We have tons of rabbits, but they feast on the clover in our backyard lawn and don't do too much damage to our flowers! 😅😂
Hey! Now there’s an idea!
A crop of clover planted at edge of woods to lure them well away from your garden!
I know you are so busy with the storm damage and trying to try ready for a wedding. Could you please just give us an update in your next video about the flower orders. How far behind shipping are you. Just to give us an idea. Thank you so much for what you do….
Yes please
Hugs to you Jenny! You're amazing! ❤👏👏👏🤗🤗🤗
💯‼️❤
Get that bunny!!!! Good girl! I am waiting for the day when one of my 3 dogs can finally out smart the squirrel that actually taunts them.
Nice to be getting place back together, looks pretty
I just love y’all ❤ all the beauty and sounds of wildlife!! 🩷🙏🏻🩷
I received 6 of the wee bit innocent from you a few weeks back for my flower pots and they are all blooming and happy. Also got 12 limelight primes and cant wait to see them fill in
Yay❣️
It’s good to see you back in the garden.❤❤ I’m in the Wilmington,NC area. Zone 8b.
Thank you Jenny. Colour combinations look amazing. a joy to see. Thanks for sharing. xxxx
Thank you so much!
Same here jenny i tackel my gardens a patch at a time like today and IF i can do more i will plant more🌞love the combos in the hum.cantainer👌💚have a good day.
You got this, Jenny. 2 weeks to button it all up. I always work well with a firm deadline. Ha! Wishing the Creekside Team all the best!
Looking so amazing Jenny, beautiful combination of plants and gorgeous colours
If you have 2, you will soon have 20! You're gardens are beautiful ❤
You have an enormous task in front of you, but you are an amazing person. Read a suggestion that you and Jerry take a vacation after the wedding. I second that motion. You both need to get away even for a few days.
You’re doing an amazing job with your garden Jenny, it’ll be stunning for the wedding ♥️
Yay, the Royal Raspberry Agastache has arrived! I’m looking forward to receiving my order of RRA from Creekside. Can’t wait! Love from Boerne, Texas Zone 8B
This area is looking Amazing! Especially love the DA climber on the arch trellis ❤
I love begonias! Please report back on the mole max. ❤❤❤
Will do!
I tried a commercially available spray for deer/rabbit protection. It was like putting frosting on cupcakes. rabbits loved it.
Try Irish spring soap cut up,grated any which way
Jenny, will you post a photo of yhe wedding? A beautiful site for the lucky couple.
Hi Jenny!!! Everything looks pretty good for the storm. We got a lot of mess up here too! BUT...I got 6 Wee Bit Innocent too and am putting them in my tall pots along my walkway. I can't wait!!!! 😀 Stay safe and well my friend!!!! ❤🌷✨🌻🌺
You need a hunting hound = no bunnies.
Good morning, Jenny☕️I love the Forest Pansy bed😍 so many gorgeous colors and texture. Those adorable, pesky rabbits 🐰 though, not so much. I have a groundhog that seems to have taken up residence in one of my bed. I’m going to try that Mole stuff for sure, too! Good luck and have a Blessed Day! 😊🐶
Be careful groundhogs ate vicious.
Slowly but surely! The gardens are beautiful in spite of the critters.😊
Your garden is really looking beautiful! The container arrangement looks sweet. Love watching Brynna. Mine does the same thing! That's her job and she does it well. And it's fun to watch her! Your Forrest pansy is Happy!
Jenny, it's looking beautiful! 💜🐞🌺🌸🍀
Thank you! 😊
You have bunnies, I have groundhogs! Bunnies eat your garden, groundhogs knock it down. I don't know which is worse honestly. But we persevere. ❤
I have both plus deer 😢
...I commiserate with your groundhoggg!!! 😭 One moved in last week, under my radar. I have no veggies; all flowers and small shrubs. What I've been able to cover with wire trash-can cloches -- now, it's wrecking unlikely cultivars out of desperation. I am sooo distraught 😩. I have flats sitting up on a table that I can't plant, because of the feast I will set before it. I've been using a (humane) trap, but of course, it's smart. 🥴 It needs to go. It needs to go NOWWW!!! 😲😲😲😲😲😲😲😲
👩🏼🌾💚 =^..^=
[MD, now 7a]
Bunnies give you fertile poop
I have moles😩They ruined several of my hostas.
I have gofers! Only the strong plants will survive for me!
Good Morning GWC Family God Bless You All✨🤍🙏
Same to you!
Brynna a such a good doggie 💛
Greetings from Ireland, Beautiful garden, Its the bees knees
you have taken lemons and made lemonade for sure!! I could not be more excited to visit in June for the Signature Experience.
Last summer the neighborhood bunnies ate my echinacea down to the ground. I had grown them from seed. They popped back up nice and bushy.
GOOD MORNING JENNY!!! Oh my goodness!! Thank you so much!!! Those moles are all over my property. They have eaten a plant as well. I'm ordering the mole chaser today!!! I can't wait to see the progression of your work today. Take care!!
Thanks Jenny. 💐💚🙃
That’s my kind of garden! Thank you for sharing!
Good Morning Jenny and all! Your gardens are beautiful!
Bunnies are a pain to have in the garden. So hard to get rid of, so are voles. Our dog chases the rabbits and it doesn’t keep them away.
So enjoyed the video today!💕
I hope we get to see a few pics from the wedding!
This is so pretty, I wish I could come see it. ❤
Jenny things are looking wonderful. Love all the new plants. I also love Brenna. Love and blessings 💚💛💚
Good Morning Jenny, I know you are probably feeling overwhelmed, bless you! I pray the storms we had yesterday missed you, but the radar didn’t look good for you….just know this too will pass! Love and prayers for your friends from South Carolina 🙏🙏❤️
I use a mix of powdered garlic and paprika, and I go around the garden with that mix. So far, it worked.
Yup, I use cayenne pepper, soap and water and spray it around my garden. Rabbits and squirrels hate it! 🎉
Good job gal. Love your roses around the trellis lovely. What kind roses are they
I learn so much watching you. Everything looks beautiful. Should I reapply fertilizer to all of my perennials? We also have had a lot of rain lately. It's rained every day for over 2 weeks with 8+ inches in one night. My plants are 1-2 years old and it's mostly hydrangeas and salvia.
If you saw 2 then you can be assured the population is at a dozen. I'm anxious to hear what you are going to do to keep your yard wedding worthy.
Everything is looking so beautiful. You and your team have done a fantastic job. The wedding will be so special!!
I have been tormented with bunnies too! Everything I plant out they eat!!😭 All my annuals I started from seed this winter and spring. I am so sad. I have tried everything.
Sending you all love Jenny ❤🫶🏻♥️🇨🇦
Very pretty gardens. Hope I get to see you today. Coming in from WI. Can't wait to see what goodies follow me home. The last ones I took home made it amd are gorgeous.
We had a momma rabbit taking a dirt bath in our driveway the other day, how do I know she was a momma rabbit, she had two of her babies along with her. There may have been more but I only saw two. 💐💚🙃
Your mood seems down in this video….i just want you to know we all love you and your CS family! You have a ton going on and no matter what, your family is here for you! ❤❤
Thank you so much!
How funny! Go Brinna Go!
You are a thriver!
Jenny, how long is your list? I have 17 projects on my to do list now. But the weather is not cooperating. I need to use the electric hedge trimmers, but it's wet in the morning and rainy in the afternoon. What's a gardener gonna do????
My rabbits 🐇 love hosta the best!
Watching you from Delaware.
What about dog with that mole repellent?
You must have been feeling my frustration Jenny! We have a ton of bunnies this year that will not leave my verbenas alone 😳, I currently have them under cloches but the cloches don’t let them branch out. Thank you for the molemax info! Buying it now 😊
❤
In our experience, rabbits are more difficult to deal with than deer. We have both 😂 Deer can be "routed" more easily. They're more predictable. Rabbits do as they please. They decimated half of our gorgeous Everillo carex area even though Jim Putnam said that they'd leave them alone after they got established. Sorry, no. 😢
Thank you, Jenny. 😊
Can I borrow Brynna for my rabbits. They are driving me crazy. I’m going to try the mole deter product you recommended. Thank you!
Love the “Wee bit” hydrangeas I have Wee Bit Grumpy
I have bunnies, and it’s limited the things I put in the landscape vs containers. I surround many baby plants with cloaches or other wire mesh protectors for a time, because when the plants mature, they are often less appealing to bunnies, at least in my garden.
Bobbex small animal repellant helps keep rabbits away at least in our garden zone 6 New England
Rabbits - at least here - primarily target annuals and some natives which makes it easier to manage…
Watch Brenna, our dog wants to eat the mole vole repellant
Jenny, I may have to try the Molemax. I have a large iron pot on a tree stump, and a squirrel keeps digging in it. I guess he’s hiding nuts or something. The garden is looking amazing.
I always say the bunnies in my yard have a death wish, now I have 2 squirrels that have joined the party 🙄 I have to turn the light on at night to give everyone a chance to get outside the fence before I let the dogs out or it’s game on to see who can get to the fence the fastest! The garden looks pretty good considering the wind, water and rain you had at such a fast pace. We are expecting a storm all weekend here on the coast (OBX) so I will be out fertilizing what hasn’t already been done.
Rabbits love the lorapetulum(sp?) on our hillside- erggggg🐰
Redbutt?! Tree vi conheço e muito. Eu quero 😭
Rabbits are cute but destructive. If you don't have a dog to leave threatening scents in your garden, protect your young Echinasia plants with wire enclosures. The leaves are the rabbits' favorite salad. I have often walked into my garden and found ... my young Echinasia plants gone. Rabbits are crepuscular and feed right after dusk and just before dawn. Brenna is a plant saver! I have a sneaky feeling that you'll keep her...
Outside cats (barn cats) really help keep away rabbits, chipmunks and squirrels away.
Nice
I have a couple of trees that need trimming up every year as well. They shade some of the plants too much. We have a volunteer tree we are having trouble getting rid of.
That's great
I'm your new subscribe 😊
Thanks so much and welcome!!!
Has Brenna tried to eat the molemaxx? I have both voles & bunnies🤦♀️. My Labrador eats organic fertilizer
She doesn’t
Is that a smoke bush you pruned? It’s huge.
It is a Forest Pansy redbud tree
🙋
What is that beautiful purple tree in the “bunny garden”?
Forest Pansy redbud
Hi 👋 Jenny 🫶🏻
Not that Brinna (sp?) would but could she have damaged the plants in her quest to catch the 2 little invaders of the garden?
I have used 2 bags of that Repellent and I will tell you the rabbits did not get the memo! 🫤
Boo 😫
