Media was slaying yze, i always said this is the greatest thing for him and richmond, not a tigers fan, but watch them climb quickly.
I hope they have learned from the Dimma days and they back him in.
He is in this position for a reason, just needs the support to get through this rebuild.
1) Club will back him for ~2.5 years - "the board is realistic about where we're at, we're in for the long haul, etc. etc."
2) Club will lose patience and heap on pressure with losses mounting
3) Eventually he'll be sacked, most likely with years left on his contract
4) A new coach will walk into a list ready to explode
5) A year later, the new coach reaps the reward

The Tigers won only two games in 2024 when the four departees were still in yellow and black. Towards the end, a couple of them could not have looked less interested.
Bring in the young guns and get 40 - 50 games into them.
I couldn't care less about the win / loss ratio for the next two seasons...check this space again in two years time..
Is Adam Yze the right coach for Richmond?
me personally I don't think so but it could take a bit to rebuild this club back to where it was and I believe it's possible, because you look at Hawthorn, GWS, and Brisbane anything is possible
Why don’t you think he’s the right coach? There isn’t really any evidence to suggest that he is or isn’t yet. Everything bad that happened to the club this year (retirees, injuries and players leaving) were pretty much entirely out of his control.
For me the jury is out with Yze ..4 premiership players left the club which people aren’t talking about …he sounds like a cheerleader…some of his press conferences were atrocious…talks about good effort when we get thumped by 15 goals…injuries are a convenient excuse…every one has them..I am prepared to give him another 2 years …
