I just bought a house for P1.8 million pesos that 37 thousand USD.
As to any country in the world, if you buy a house in the metro and an exclusive subdivision. it will really jack up the price. You're paying for the location.
@Daniel Chuckson you can't buy any property here in the Philippines though unless you're partly own it with a Filipino.
It seems that money is an issue to you because you're hurt with the price of these properties but you'd have to look further because these aren't all the properties that are being sold.
It's definitely cheaper here than the US. Have you done at least a bit of research?

You can really tell there’s so much space especially since all the furniture are there. It’s nice to go house hunting in a non-empty house so you won’t be fooled by all the “space”

I hope you got the condo you wanted. The last one was incredible. It was amazing how the different aspects pulled from nature helped to give it a cozy and homey feel where the others felt more cold and utilitarian.

The condo in Mandaluyong is so expensive and it’s a big space for 3 people to live. You can buy a nice 3 townhome in Taguig city

As a homeowner myself, no doubt I prefer the house. It gives you the space you could ever need and the freedom to walk and jog around your neighborhood. It’s a great investment and great for hosting all your relatives and friends. BUT, it’s a bit pricey which means it’ll limit your ability to invest some of the money on other things like a vacation home and maybe starting another business venture. But, my pick is still the house then second the most affordable condo. Just research more on the older condo though, specially on the building structure and the area. Good luck! Maybe you can ask for more discount. Also double check the plumbings, electricity, surfaces... hope there will be no leaks.... etc... just to make sure, it's worth your money.... When in comes to condos it’s a good price already considering that your near bgc, if you buy a condo like this in bgc it would probably cost 300-500 million pesos. The house is also fully furnished. And it got a very homey feel not like the other houses that are more expensive but without furnitures.

I've worked in this building for so long as a real estate agent!!! And I have never seen the penthouse, back in my years as an agent there this wasn't for sale so I never visited. Seeing it here was a total "daaaaamn" moment. And the price is amazing for the location and the beauty! I hope Will takes it! The owner took their time in designing this house! I mean you can really see how much effort they put in those details! (I've watched the Top Realty vid as well hehe)

The Php45million penthouse is amazing. But just my two cents, check the location for possible flooding, traffic and fault line. And also ask the owner why they’re selling it just to make sure that there are no other issues about the place.
Mandaluyong sits on an adobe bedrock covered by a thin layer of soil and is classified as within a Very Low Risk area least likely to be affected by high intensity earthquakes. 😊

Totally agree! There are stuff there that needs to be removed or changed. Less is more. But the whole unit though is a very well thought of house. Love the combination of wood and stone. And it’s theme is consistent all through out.

NOTE: "Sales person/brokers are trained to sale water to a drowning man"... Much better to look for a nice place/location. Buy a spacious lot then hire a good architect to build your dream home.... 😁 (10-30% of that price eh para sa nagsasalita ✌️😂 embes na magagamit mu pa 😁)
agree on this one, it's even cheaper to buy a lot in tagaytay and build a house from ground up. however...... if he's really looking for a house inside metro manila, that last one's the best in price and location (near the airport, since he's travelling a lot)
You are correct but selecting among the three properties i would probably jump to the second 1 that big house,,he can afford that though.. I wonder how much they, re going to pay for monthly bills living in that huge condo for sure it provably more or less 100k for that big...

The last condo was definitely the one.. the price was right and the view with all the interesting interior decor and floor layout.. I’d say the price is worth it.

My goodness. Manila IS expensive. For a $900,000 house in the US, that's a mansion in some parts of the states plus acres and acres of land
I agree. That’s what I’m arguing about with my mom. Though there are also super cheap lots here in the suburbs.
Where in the US, cause in Massachusetts our house is $1.2M and it's only 0.5 acres of lot and it's a house with 4BR 2.5 bath, not a mansion.
The location is good in Mandaluyong, just a bridge away to Makati, less than 10 kilometers to Makati CBD, ansd Rockwell. Very close to a supermarket and good restos. Location is good plus, as the broker said, cost is much lower here than Makati and BGC
