Were loading the trailer to head to NAHBE at the moment. I'll add a good description with more to the story tonight.

Can already tell what type of place it is when in the first 10 seconds I hear a smoke detector battery alert.
Mating call of the ghetto.
Lol yep. Income based maintenance man 24 years now.. Always chirping! I don't know for the life of me how anyone can live with them detectors beeping non stop. Drives me crazy! I always carry a couple 9v in my pocket to shut them up lol.
I keep stopping the video to check my shoke detector lol
That would drive me crazy, hearing that beep go off randomly in my home.

I don’t know how anybody can stand listening to a smoke detector beeping. I have a package of 9 volt batteries at all times. Love what you do and thanks for sharing.♥️👍🏼🙏
I usually keep some in my truck but I didn't have any with me that day.
You ruin your hearing w tools & guns, then you don't even hear high frequencies like smoke detectors. I haven't hear those low battery beeps since the 1980s. 😊

Replace a damned battery before calling service people. Oof that sound.

You might want to pass on to the property owner that his 'ceiling bird' AKA Smoke Alarm needs a new battery!!! As a Brit That is a very annoying sound, when I worked in the US it was a never ending source of amusement that I could clearly heard the low battery bleep but My American co-workers never seemed to hear them until it was pointed out, and some of the tought that the Smoke Alarms bleeping mean't they were working OK!!

I use a power supply with a remote, so I do not have to go up the ladder,
down the ladder, all the time.

Take this as your reminder folks. New year, new battery! Also check the detector for an expiration date! They are usually good for about 10 years!
Maybe they'll get themselves batteries for Christmas. Tenants would rather throw out the smoke detectors than buy batteries, typically.

Thats awesome! Every one took the mic when I said some years ago that as soon as a queen hatched out she went straight for the uncapped honey for a feed and none of the other bees where paying her any attention she walked straight past the 2 year old queen no fighting or anything. 9 years later I now have proof on Roosters channel haha I need that bit on a 3 hour loop and make them all watch it for pay back time haha Had to chuckle at Can you hear anything. I am not doing anything at the moment haha Wish you a happy and prosperous 2024 Rooster.

@@628DirtRooster Hahahahaha, We haven't had any as of yet, rumour is that tonight it's going to snow here in Toronto. Our temperatures have barely dipped below 0 Celsius. Personally I'm happy with not having any snow.

It's not typical but I do sometimes have more than one in the truck. Usually you're not doing more than one job a day unless you're in southern Cali or south Florida.

Don't miss out on them this year ;) One is a James Beard award chef, with a 5 course meal :) Looking forward seeing everyone again, a great way to start off the new year. That was a good size nest . Well one thing about that surprise water line if you had cut it you would not needed that mask for the dust . Randy I have always used a bread knife when I am Extracting my Honey an I have quite a few knives with both kinds of cutting edges . On both of them there is no rime to reason but I can not figure out why they will start damaging the comb as I am cutting the capping off . Do you have any reason or idea what happens. They'll start tending her before she's mated but when she's really young she's kind of on her own. Right now she's on a mission to make sure this is HER colony.

Next time please change the smoke detector or omit it from the sound. It is very annoying and really shows a disrespect and disregard for your audience...who, according to Social Blade, earns you over $75k a year via RUclips earnings.
Couple of things here. If RUclips earnings were anywhere near that much I would have a new truck and no other job. Second thing is I spent a solid day editing this video cutting out as much as possible. I make zero apologies. It’s what I could do with the time I had.
