I've bought a lot of the different courses on improv.. I've never seen anything like it.. All the stuff I've bought from you is amazing, the best. Love it. I hope you will release more cool stuff in the future.
This is interesting. I do something similar on 🎹 and 🎸. I usually play the Lester Flat run in C.. originally done in G by Lester. It is C E Eb G A C..however in C it really comes from or is a mode of A blues..which is easy to smoke on the piano as it fits the fingers easily. I play A C D Db E G...it really funny..In the early 70s; Dad taught me how to do a sliding run..or G run .. which is just the E blues scale reordered I did know about LesterIn those days. That was way before RUclips. Watching. Excellent guitar work Thanks for the sheet music and the tablature.
Its fun to drive ur cleans to the max and play Jazz lines nd runs whether blues or standard nd even in different styles. Sometimes all u need is a clean channel and that has every tone u need to mess around with maybe some compression to pronounce the gains more if u turn ur gain up on the clean channel/clean amp. I had a Vox AC 30 Amp and that was probably the coolest amp its sound was superb. I had a pedal board nd ehat not for it but my favorite pedal was my Keeley compressor pedal i could get so much more out of the amps speakers nd tubes, but having a pedal board never took off for me. Im thinking about getting a head and cab like the Peavey Invective but i heard mixed about it. I have heard it live nd its pretty good
Hi brother my name is Nikolas and I am a Bouzouki teacher. I am using Sibelious to notate for my students. Unfortunately Sibelious doesn’t provide a landscape video like yours. What do you suggest. Thank you for your time.
Wanted to see his right hand as well. Going by the brief snippet in beginning...he doesn’t use a pick and uses his right hand fingers / nails to play ?
Please note that running through the cycle of fours or fifths is easy for guitar players compared to any other instrument! Same thing for the task to find the third, fifth or any other start tone for a lick. For trumpet players this is hard work filling a lifetime, for a guitar player it's 2 or 3 sets of fingerings ;-)
If you extend the "Major Blues Scale" with the maj7 instead the b7 than you can apply it to any Maj7 chord.. this sounds also pretty good..what do you think? Thank you so much Nick for your generosity to share your huge knowledge and passion about music.. kind regards from Germany!
Hi ! I’m intrigued as to how you got the tab on the video to scroll left ? Most programs like guitar pro and progression etc would scroll from left to right instead (like reading a book) What software is being used to make these videos ??? Thanks !
There are a few errors in the TAB on this video that have been corrected on the PDF -

Gotta try that!
So I understand the soul scale is the major blues scale but the intonation of the music sounds very bebop. Is this also considered bebop?
SENSACIONAL
