Bought these for $14 for a 45 switch set for my Redragon K552. When you install them they do bend the pins(some bend, some don't) but they're still 100% fully functional. I used 26 of them for all letters, 10 of them for all numbers, leaving me with 9 switches that I used for the spacebar, escape key, backspace, enter, tab, left shift, left ctrl, left alt and the last one I wanted to use for the FN key since I use it often but I did break the pins(not break but it basically went further inside, and it now doesn't work) of my last switch. Which I'm fine with because it made me open up the switch to see what's inside it. The lube you can tell was professionally installed and I can probably fix the switch but I don't exactly need it. HIGHLY recommend these switches, and yes for a Redragon K552 if you by chance have it.
@@professorfrink6831 They bend because they're bigger than Outemu switches. Outemu switches are Cherry clones with smaller frames and pins, which is why modding this keyboard can be a pain in the ass. The bigger pins of other switches are not supposed to go into Outemu housings.
@@Mendaz I see. The square fits just fine but getting the switch all the way down is the hardest part. Either way, the keys do indeed work 100% so I'm happy. It wasn't a pain, but frustration did occur for sure. I ended up just saying fuck it and pushed every switch into place and then tested them. Luckily they all work perfectly.
Hey I got these lubed by Lume Keebs. I built a matcha themed keyboard with them. Ultimately, not my favorite keyboard to type on, but I do really love the sound. Aluminium case on a PC plate that sounds really interesting.
Nice! Even though I like this configuration of my keyboard, the tinkering itch has me wanting to find a cost-effective way of mixing things up. I keep forgetting about Akko for some reason…
Been waiting on this one as well. From my experience it's definitely deeper than the Piano or Cream Blacks but not as loud as the Cream Blacks. While similar I think the Akko Cream Black pro V3 have a little more bounce back to me when typing but not sure why. These are quite nice, especially since they have been on sale recently. I haven't found the right board / keycap set for these yet but sure I will soon. Great thorough video as always!
Not this video, but in others the idle music you play between keyboards reminds me of the Map theme from Mass Effect and it is awesome, I like this too. I am also working through your awesome content but I am curious, I'm looking for a deeper/thockier sounding linear switch that is not too heavy? That makes for tired fingers. I love the sound of like a cherry MX black but just too heavy for long periods.
I'm using my wasd keys with different linears, and I'm leaning towards matchas. Piano and jelly black, cream yellow and ttc demon amongst them are either too clacky or shallow for my taste. Wish I could test jelly pink, heard good stuff about yhh them.
@@ClickandThockI commented at another Video, but can you review the KTT strawberry? i heard they are bassically tangerine on a budget, they seem to be that smooth
Another switch that I’ve taken a curious look at my local keyboard store. Thank you and have a good day sir
Thanks for you comments! :)

That's actually useful info I have that exact same keyboard
How did you get them to fit with that tight opening in the plate of the keyboard?? I couldn't get anything other than Outemu switches to fit.
@@Mendaz What tight opening? The square? It fits into the square just fine. The difficult part is the pins.

Yeah it does!
I got these on sale from Akko's official store on Ali, 7.99 for 45 switches. I love them so much 😭
So cheap for good switches...!
I have bought these switches and they are one of the most phenomenal ones I own. Thanks for this video!
Great switches! My pleasure, thanks for your comment!

Have you lubed your cream blacks?
Thanks man! :)

Take a look at the Moyu Fuyu! Thanks man!
Hi, how many pins do they have? I've seen descriptions with "5 pins" but on the pictures are showed just 3
Mine are 3 pins
@@ClickandThockI think only matcha greens and clear switches come with three pins only the rest with 5.

Hey can I make a recommendation a review the for next switch? i love your style and have reference what your experience
Always open to recommendations! Thanks!

Dont like how their 20dbs louder than older matchas. I'ma go for crem yellow v3.
Cream yellow v3 still a good choice!
May I know which is more more poppy? Matcha Green Pro V3 or the Gateron G Pro Yellow 3.0?
Have not tried the gat yellow pro v3 yet...
@@ClickandThock Thanks
Please do cream yellow akko switches those are my favourite 😅
I really like your videos btw, super professional ❤
