    I have spent the last 3 hours watching pool resurfacing videos. I'm not sure exactly how you did everything by watching your video. The video was mildly informational, However the product you have shown me is superior to any other company and or DIYer that I have seen on RUclips in my hours of viewing. I am a tradesman my self and offer a top notch experience for my customers. Its not hard to tell you do the same.

    Really liked what you did....did you just plater color the bottom? How much was this project roughly from start to finish ?
    Do you have a NorCal Bay Area recommendation ?

      Hello, this project included new pebble and tile. Around 20k, using some upgraded materials. Bay Area, we know Aqua Gunite, or Adams Pool Solutions!

    Good job! As a designer by nature. Love the dark blue tile, but the plaster is too dark - over all you did a great job, I would have just had the plaster lighter to give it a cleaner look -

      Exactly what I as thinking. The deep blue color when they first poured was really beautiful, but then the grayish color was way too muddy.

      Miracote Membrane C on this pool, we also use Basecrete as a waterproofer as well.

    What was the rough cost of this project? I'm in the San Diego area and have a 15k gallon in ground pool. It's from the 70's but functional...however it needs new coping, new deck, re-plaster, the works.

      Hi Victor, I believe this tile and pebble job was around 19k, it was a larger tile job, upgraded tile and an upgraded pebble finish. We do free estimates if you ever want to get a realistic cost give us a call 619-561-0555

      I agree , that pool is 20-30 years old , and I would have pressure tested the lines make sure no leaks and changed the skimmer , why spend all that money and not do it right , always start with the filtration system too. It’s like having a Ferrari with a blown engine. I mean that’s my stile when remodeling my pools but everyone thinks differently.

      BOND COAT 2 PART / YOU CAN USE THINSET. WITH ADDITIVE

      We used a product called Membrane C from Miracote.

    Do you guys have anybody in the last cruces, new Mexico area that could maybe come appraise my pool? It's an unground one used to be concrete but my grandpa made it vinyl. I would like it to be concrete again.

      We just had ours redone in S.FL. About 22,000 gallon pool, 84 Linear ft. of new Couping and tile. Cost was $6,500 for new couping, tile and Florida Stucco gem quartz. Florida prices are cheaper than other areas.

      This can go up to 22k to 65 depending on materials you want

    Its so hard to find dependable honest pool people in Florida, There are hundreds of law suites pending looking for these come and go cut rate companies in Florida that did lousy work or In some cases never finished the job, Do you have any friends in Tampa ??

      Depends on the color of tile and plaster. My guys literally all use to work for them until I started paying better. Without overcharging the home owners

Poolscape is quite comparable in pricing to pretty much every other LEGITIMATE contractor in town that pays the costs to run a real business like payroll taxes, workers compensation and liability insurance. Not sure who "all your guys" are or what your company is for that matter but I assure you any worth while employee stick around because I treat them well. Many for 25+ years, hence our solid reputation. Thanks for chiming in though ;)

    They could have just gotten the tile cleaned and repaired by Hess tile cleaning and gotten it replastered.

    They could have just gotten their pool tile cleaned by elite pool tile cleaning and then gotten the tile repaired and then replastered.

      The tile was no longer adhered to the wall, holding on by the grout only....so in this case, cleaning was not an alternative.

      @@jaymechapman well tbh a lot of tile on many pools ive seen isnt. In the greatest shape. Either However common sense tells you once you start chipping and removing pieces of older tile all the other tiles will start going with it as the tileline level has been disrupted
      So i think the old tiles on this job could have stayed but hey business is business

      The tile upgrade on this pool made a gorgeous aesthetic difference. Sure, they could have repaired the tile from the 80s, but its still an 80s look if that's what you want. I think the pool is stunning with that tile.
