Thank you so much for the support! ❤️️
I recorded this with my laptop webcam, a very cheap amp, and the same mic for both the amp and my voice.
Even with such a cheap set up, I am overwhelmed to have made such an impact on many people's guitar playing!
I am extremely grateful! ❤️️
The best tutorial on the internet
Thank you very much!!
Exactly ❤
Great tutorial! Mark Tremonti is truly a blessing for us guitar players. And what a great singer songwriter too!

And, indeed has great pieces.
Late to the mix here, but this is phenomenal. Literally the best explained, accurate and easy to follow lesson I’ve seen for this song! Thanks much my friend!

@@KshitizBhandari1 sure😁
@@denusobeats7052 Greatly appreciate it! :)
Appreciate this tutorial! First time plucking with my fingers so its tough but I'm slowly getting it. Transition from the 2nd bar to the 3rd throws me off.
You'll get there! Thank you for the support!
Yeah, I am not used to finger picking either.
But I can do it for some specific songs.😊
Mesmo em inglês eu entendi melhor que muitos que ja tenteram ensinar
Muito obrigado. Que bom que pude ajudar!
Nice lyrics
Yeah, the song is quite good.
✌️💕👍😃
Awesome mate :D I'll get on it, I have a Project to learn new/oldchool melodies :D
Glad to be of service! :)
@@KshitizBhandari1 well it's always nice :)
So do u still do videos and what genre?
@@allmetallica I got extremely busy with college and work. I'll start again at the end of summer. I mostly do Rock and Metal, but I guess I will include some melodies.
@@KshitizBhandari1 It's okay dude I understand, you have to listen to life, and not want u want out life all the time, sometimes u need to prepare for ur adult life etc.. no pressure from me :)
This is the best day I'm.ngl btw pin pls
You made it look sooo easy bro,,,,very nice tutorial.
Do you teach Guitar online, let me know please.
Thank you very much.
I am in a different country for my master’s, and I don’t even have a guitar.
Plus, I have never done an online teaching session.
Thanks for asking though.
@@KshitizBhandari1 ok. No problem
Can we play it on acoustic guitar?
Yeah, very easily. I first learnt it on an acoustic as well :)
Just about practice and the desire to do it. :)
👍
Thank you :)
Please do a ukulele lesson too. Im tired of seeing guitar tutorials everywhere 😭
Haha, I don’t have access to a guitar or a ukulele right now. Just moved to a different country for grad school.
I will, if I get a chance.
Your guitar model please
The one in this video is Dean MAB4 Gauntlet (Michael Angelo Batio signature). However, I have an Ibanez now. This one is back in Nepal.
Also, this ends up with a better "feel" to it if you pluck the strings with the correct fingers, instead of trying to jump around everywhere with just your index.
Where would you then keep your pick when you're performing this on stage?
I have always played it this way, because I'll need a pick for the rhythm later.
By the way, the guitarist who wrote this song plays the riff with just his thumb and index finger.
And since I am a man of science, I won't merely force a conclusion without evidence.
Check this - Creed live in 2009.

@@KshitizBhandari1 I'm aware of Tremonti's odd fingerpicking technique, I used it when I first learned this. When I began playing more fingerstyle type guitar and developed proper technique, I began using it on this song. It seems to flow better and also allows you to add variation by being able to hit other strings for harmonizing.
As far as the pick, it stays under my middle finger just fine. Plucking strings with it doesn't necessarily require straightening it out.
@@procrastinator6902 Yes, I agree. If you are a finger-style guitarist, there is a lot more freedom.
Like you said, adding harmonies makes it more pleasant even when playing a single guitar.
However, I play mostly rock and metal-type songs. As a result, I do not play finger style, unless it is a song like this.
Bro how do you the double pull off its so hard i pull off both my finger hahahaha
You mean pulling two strings with your right hand?
@@KshitizBhandari1 this part 5p3p2h3 i cant hear it sound when i do it im currently playing on acoustic is it normal?
chords..?
Written right above the tabs for each part.

Sorry?
I’m still having trouble playing this while smoking cigarettes. Do you have any suggestions for a smoker?
Haha, I don't smoke. Wouldn't the ash falling on your guitar cause some surface damage or something?
Maybe no smoking while playing :P
It's good for both the lungs and your guitar skills.
@@KshitizBhandari1 I guess I could use this one song as a “smoke break.” I smoke so much that a “smoke break” is actually a break from smoking. All kidding aside, AWESOME VIDEO! 🙌

it would be better if you just play along with tabs in screen.
Every one has different learning styles.
Plus, there are certain nuances that beginners cannot pick up just from watching someone play.
nice tutorial bro but you dont half sound like richard ramirez haha
I had to Google who that was. I am kind of confused now.
I don't half sound like that dude, as in?
@@KshitizBhandari1 no you sound like him sorry I’m British that’s just the way we talk 😂
Haha, I guess, "There is no such thing as bad publicity"?
Well, I don't know how to respond to that compliment/insult.😂
Neverthelss, thanks for the compliment on the tutorial though 😊

Appreciate that, sir.

Thank you for the feedback.
When you tab a guitar, the first string is written at the top. It is because the highest pitch is written at the top.
Furthermore, when you are playing the guitar and looking at it, the first string appears at the highest point of sight.
I'm sorry if it inconvenienced you, but it is the standard way. I recommend being accustomed to it. It actually seems easier later. :)
Dorm Room Genius okay anyway great tutorial 😊😊
His hands look like white spiders.....I'm out!
I'm guessing it is a compliment? Haha, thanks!
Just a little bit of practice, and you'll have spiders of your own in no time.
Great job bro!
