During this sequence I realized that Odin was testing Atreus since he wanted him to get into the city on his own which led him to meet Heimdall. Like he could’ve used his ravens to teleport him pass the wall but instead he wanted to test him
Also, it was a chance for manipulation. Being nice to Atreus after dealing with Heimdall would make him seem like the good guy, and make Atreus more likely to trust him
Interesting point of view. I always assumed that Odin did that so he could buy himself some time as Tyr. I mean, if he transported Atreus directly to the great loge, it mean he'd have to be there and so quickly disapear as Tyr in the house... And it would be rather suspect that Tyr disapear like 2 minutes after the boy threw a tantrum and ran away.
I know this was a different version of Asgard that everyone was used to it looks like your typical Norse settlement not like the golden palace you see in the mcu wish we got to see Valhalla but you have to die in battle for that. At least we saw the famous rainbow bridge
Its atreus real father. Just look at my video for proof. Atreus is holding his father on the jothiem mural. *death father disaster* yet we all thought it was kratos.
This part of his charm he does this as a manipulation tactic to get people to drop their guards in order to get what he wants then he shows his real face
Funny thing when Atreus tried to shoot Heimdall in the back his muddied arrows splashed onto his face when he caught it. Which is why he got pissed and turned to attack him
What I find funny about that, Atreus/Loki, a teenager getting reasonably mad at Heimdall for being a bully to him and kicking him into the mud. While Heimdall, a grown man on the other hand, getting angry at a little bit of mud splashed onto his face. Jeez it speaks high volume about him being immature.
Holy shit i just realized, when thor threatend heimdall at 45:48 You can hear "the hammer of thor" closely and when heimdall stood back it stopped, ngl that gaved me chills and im not even heimdall here.

@@mpilenhlevilane172 There is a poem in the Poetic Edda, one of the two primary sources we have about Norse Mythology, called Grímnismal. It tells the story of Odin arriving at the hall of king Geirroth whom he have fostered with his wife, Frigg, under the illusion of an elderly couples. When Odin heard Geirroth became king he was glad but then it was revealed that he was a nasty host of men, who not only mistreats his guests but also torture them at times. Hospitality was one of the virtues of the Norse, so violating that was a BIG taboo. Odin was angry and decided to disguise as a cloaked figure under the alias "Grímnir", hence the title of the poem. No one was kind enough to tend to Odin except the king's son, Agnar, who gave Odin drink from the horn. Odin feels a great sense of gratitude and proceeds to tell Agnar the visions he have of the Norse cosmos, about the gods, Asgard, his many titles, the phenomenoms of the world.
