Do O Gauge myself in the states, but I've been having fun acquiring British locomotives and stock from the UK. Mostly clockwork, as you lads use 2 rail DC and we use 3 Rail AC, but I've also found a Triang Blue Flyer Hymek and a Lima 4F, both on battery power. Hymek runs good on Lionel tubular track, hopefully when the Lima arrives it'll be a good 'un as well.
Hi Ryan. Great video mate and I look forward to seeing your next part. Have you heard of Delrin Drive ? Its a system to connect two or three motor bogie axles together using a plastic chain ! See you Wednesday evening, regards from Ron 🚂🚂👍
Hi Ron, I have heard of Delrin Drive and I did think of making my own many times trying to sort the Hymek but I might just go ahead and buy some if I know where to find it 👍
Iv 2 of the c.i.e hymeks they are the r768 from 1977.my first train set.also i have the class 33 in irish rail supertrain livery.that was commissioned by murphy models in 1997 i think.they at the time were the closest thing to us having irish train models here in ireland.was thinking of buying the big hymek and painting it in supertrain livery.
I've made plenty of handrails with paperclips. It's very therapeutic. Many of my o scale models have been done this way.

Good to see you again.
Lima O gauge - never mind the detail, feel the girth.
