@@d.devries4807 I'm gonna be honest, If you are heavy the rear Shock might be too soft but if not its good I drove like 2000 Kilometers since i got her and she handles extremely well in the twisties for her age, even if you make a mistake like going too fast in a corner she is forgiving. Brakes are also decent, i upgraded from the original brake pads and Brake disc to a TRW Front Brake disc and Brembo sinter Brake pads, i am also planning on upgrading the rear shock. But i can tell you its a good learner bike that is very fun and rewarding to ride. Ride Safe, If you have more questions regarding the gs just ask
@@DTHY Hey thanks! Im only 60 kilo's so that wont be a problem, only thing is to not be blown off by the wind hahah.. Sick that you upgraded the brakes, i think thats one of the most overlooked upgrades on any vehicle. I noticed that the brakes were not too good, so ordered new pads. Also the front forks. I put i think they are called 'progressive springs' in there, so it doesnt dive in as deep. Makes it somewhat more predictable👍👍
BRO PLEASE wear some gear, do not ride like that. It doesn't have to be your fault, someone can just crash into you and you WILL fall over and rip your skin. PLEASE BE SAFE and take care bro
Yes but not like you do,mostly in red line ma boy. After you start the engine, wait a few seconds before giving it throtle etc.Just my advice for you.Even at 4000-5000-6000 is the engine healthy .@@stanley_69
Only two days left till i can ride my GS, gonna full send it, ride safe!

2 days for me rn haha

My first bike damn I miss this thing 😅
great tool to learn on
Great video, I like sound on you bike, could you tell me what reference slip-on you have. Thanks
thanks, ixil if you mean exhaust
Thinking of buying this or a Honda Hornet 250. This has a bigga engine but the Hornet 250 has 4 cylinders liquid cooled and redlines at 16k
buy R1 :D
@@stanley_69 when you give me R1 money, I would
I haven't ridden the hornet 250, but I would still recommend the suzuki gs 500
Great sound!! What is the exhaust that it has??
IXIL
Which action camera were you using for this video? Quality is really good
go pro 10, it deppends on the settings 4k 60 FPS stabilization max i guess, later on i started using nd filter 32
Dolní Bečva, tam to jedeee!!!!
tam to líta :D

I recently bought a two-piece leather suit, so no need to worry about that
@@stanley_69 Thank you. Stay safe!
Zdrowa sztuka
Your GS is very fast and powerful at high RPM, is it stock ?
always filled with high octane gasoline and yes its stock
What exhaust you got?
IXIL its without db killer
I ride 1993 GS500E, but can reach the same speed with a way lower RPM. I am surprised now tbh!
whats fuel consumption?
around 3,5-5 L
@@stanley_69 thanks
What’s your handle bar setup? Is it a clip on? Where can I buy
Hey, to be honest man i dont know ,I have never done any modifications to the bike,
but it probably depends on the year of manufacture.
@@stanley_69 lol, thanks tho man! Hope your having a good day
@@TheGroveStreetKilla im good man thanks
it comes as the stock handler bar, and for the year mine is a 1994 and i saw them on some mid 2000's modele too
@@loick_btn9395 so a stock gs500 1994 has this handle bar? Neat thanks for letting me know
what kind of mirrors you have on your bike???

If you are begginer its still the best choice for you
now i ride R6 yamaha
@@stanley_69 Wow very serious machine 🤯
Top speed gs 500????
175
35kw?
yes
With just t-shirt 😢
dont worry now i have full leather suit
I've done 100mph on mine and called it good
it's not even a bike for speed, it's more like a chill ride bike
34 kw?
yes
My GS doesn't even go half as fast...damn.
really? it also depends on the rider's weight
@@stanley_69 I am overweight. That could be it lol.
maximum speed of the motorcycle is around 175 KM/H
I think it's healthier for the bike to use the clutch ..just saying
maybe yea but for me its a lot smoother than with clutch
If done properly it poses no issues at all. No difference between that and a quick shifter.
did my exam on this bike it's so agile i was suprised lol
Jesus is coming brother
All that in 4 gears. lol
i dont use 5th gear
@@stanley_69 why?
@@nokee9317 because the engine runs better at higher revs
