A word of caution konthea . If she does have lice, that lice can get in your hair too. Better off to wear your hair up so it's not touching Lucy. Love how she responds to your touch

I'm going to be a bit of a devil's advocate here. While I really enjoyed watching the interaction, I'm wondering if it's in Lucy's best interest to continue the relationship. You're teaching her and the others that it's allowed to approach humans. The monkeys are not tame, but they're no longer completely wild either. Unfortunately they've become so tolorant to people they've become fat, lazy non-foragers who expect the humans to feed and care for them. Infant deaths are at an all time high, kidnapping too. Poor mothering instincts and father's indifference makes for lots of problems. Isn't it a crime to feed the animals there? No one seems to enforce it.

Lucy keeps several large glass marbles in her cheek pouches. She takes them out ossasionally to sleep. They are her prized possession

the vos were using sling shots to shoot the monkeys with marbles
old lucy would hide them thinking they would stop shooting monkeys.. she often had 5 or more in her pouches, and caused her pouches to stretch abnormally, the vos often shake her neck to hear the marbles...poor old thing was harassed untill she died
