Hey all , today I'm talking about something I find quite mentally challenging - Change. There's been a lot in my life recently and here are some ways I cope. Excuse my voice - I was just starting to get a cold at the time of filming. Edited most of this recovering in bed 🤒
How do you deal with change?

Such a relaxing video, you have such a beautiful energy and calming way of speaking!☺
Aw thanks so much
Great video :) would love to hear you talk about your experience of medical school!
Hello surina! i just passed plab 2, as a img doctor i love watching your videos ! greetings from turkey!
Congrats! And thank you :)
so relaxing. nice one Surina
Thanks for watching ☺
love your videos! would like more advice on how your social life was as an F1, were your fellow colleagues friendly was it like uni?
Hi Surina.. I like your calm demeanor😊 and voice and thus find your videos fun to listen to.. I'm wondering if you could please make a video about moving from PGY2 jobs in Australia to training positions. Is it harder than in the UK? And was it specific to Surgery? I intend to apply to PGY2 positions in Australia and it's seems fairly straightforward but I'm not sure if I should jump if getting a training position after this is going to be terribly tough.
😂 “I think I’m heading for my next life soon”
I’ve been watching your videos since I was in med school in Namibia & now I’m an F1 living in Bristol too. The world really is small!!! Anyway Bristol seems like a pretty good base for adventurers
U are so amazing 🌹
How long is the internal and family medicine training in Australia?
Amazing video, thank you Surina.
Also, the electronic desk in your video looks lovely, where did you get it from? :)
Flexispot! It's amazing🥰
@@drsurinatanejathank you so much for your reply. Is it the E8 model? :) thank you again
Hi Surina, i am fresh grad physiotherapist from England. I know your videos are about medicine. However, i wonder if the pros and cons of working in Australia as a physio is similar to what you have mentioned in Kenji's broadcast video?? Many thanks!
Full desk set up yes please! Also if you’re into study with me sessions, would also be great! I need to study too 😢 enjoyed this video a lot, especially the part about moving to be more frictionless!
Yay okay!! Ooh haven't considered doing that yet but maybe
Am moving to brisbane next wk. Can u suggest good studios / 1bhks near south bank CBD pls ? Tks
Which system & country u like most uk or Australia?? Pls share your experience doc 🙂
Aus for weather and money
UK for fairer training system, and being closer to family
Were becoming doctor is best in USA or Europe?
Mam how much do you earn now as a doctor? Plz reply. Thanks a lot.
Why didn’t you do surgical training in Australia
yes please🙏 was it not possible and needed more years wasted or was it because of family?
1. Family and friends
2. Quicker/easier to get on to surgical training in the UK
@@drsurinataneja okay can you do a video on surgical training in Australia, especially cardiothoracic surgery please🌚😂, but just surgical training in general
For someone who hates change, you sure have been challenging yourself over the past year! I thrive on change, I have constantly itchy feet but my husband does not so it’s a challenge. I satisfy myself with staying put but making constant adjustments to our house, habits and lifestyle. Do your husband’s aspirations fit well with yours?
Yeah I'd say they do!
Why did you left Australia?....was Australia not good for doctors??..
