I got myself a steelcase standing desk with two motors and it's just incredible how my mood has changed since starting using it. Getting a standing desk is a no brainer
Awesome. That's good to hear! I might replace the desktop on mine and get something a little longer. However my full setup (2 monitors and speakers) may be over 154 lbs.
@@jbivphotography I really recommend you do it. Call me crazy, but it feels a different vibe, from my everyday meetings to edit photos, I have more energy.
Hi, I'm a wedding DJ and I also work at weddings as a reportage photographer. I use a much stronger version that is made by us, like a table under a DJ console. When I play, I stand with him, when I process photos, I sit with him. Really great. I'm from Czech Republic. I watch your videos and they are very informative and inspiring.
Seems "VERY" wobbly... your test consisted of moving it side to side using only your fingertips and there was a good 2-3 cm wobble... Inaccurate description imo.
I didn't think it was too bad. But I'm also not an expert on wobble. This is the first standing desk I've ever owned so it doesn't seem too bad to me. Also I could have been a little more diligent on tightening the bolts when I built it.
That wobble is exactly what's wrong with this guy. Paid review/free product most likely. Just like Badseedtech reported, Flexidesk desks are cheap. And because of that the build quality and qc suck.
Hey John loved your perspective on this desk. I have a question outside of the desk review. I couldn’t help take my eyes off of the color of your walls. Can you please tell me what wall paint is that please. Looking to change the color of my room and your grey hue seems perfect. Keep up the great reviews bruv.
Hey do you shoot ocf and do you have any videos on that? Also, what are your thoughts about ocf vs natural light. Lastly, I just downloaded your presets for PS and they are amazing! I would love luts for final cut pro videos too!
I brought a standing desk, which brand is MaIdesite,I thought I spent my money is worthwhile because my 200 kg husband can stand on the table and change the light bulb, this surprised motor can continue to rise.
Thanks a bunch. I'm actually planning at some point to do a "RUclips Week" and talk about the process of RUclips and recording and editing. Spoiler Alert I don't do any color grading at all. Because Fujifilm colors are SOOO GOOD OUT OF CAMERA.
@@jbivphotography Can't Wait!! Congratulations as well on Becoming a Fuji Ambassador. One of my best friends and mentors Damien Lovegrove was one of the firsts. Thanks for taking the time to respond.
i want to use it as a table for my dj equipment. I will have it at 40 inch height. I was wondering if it will wobble a lot at that height with equipment and mild scratching?
For DJ'ing, especially if you're going to be doing some scratching I think it might shake a little bit too much. Mainly since DJ'ing is such a specific art where everything needs to be as still as possible. But you could always give it a try.
Yeah. It's really starting to look like Hackintoshing is going to be a think of the past in the next year or too. Seeing how this Mac mini performs I'm honestly extremely hopeful about the future of Apple computers. I'm going to wait for them to drop a Mac Pro or something of that sort and probably grab one.
I’m looking for one. I want one with casters/wheels, but all of the ones I’ve found seem to have less desk space than I’d like. I’m putting a 30” Cinema Display and a macbook on it, so 36 isn’t enough. Recommendations appreciated!
you’ve probably bought one by now😂 but i’m looking at flexispot for a standing desk & i saw that you can add casters onto your order in the accessories after you click on a desk
@@jbivphotography well, I placed my order last night. I work from home for my 9-5, then I switch hats and start editing photos or other photo business, right after work. So this will work great. PS it’s still on sale plus an added $50 discount at checkout!
@@jbivphotography I actually DM’d you on IG earlier today and wanted to let you know that Sigma might be making XF mount lenses! (Idk if this is old news).
Hello John, can you tell me if it’s possible to operate the desk manually, here in south Florida it’s not unusual to lose power (electricity). Thank you.
Annoying saying… like a video, check the links below… fcuk! No independent reviewers this day, or did day exist ? Customer service for this is terrible at least from amazon reviews! By the way, people are really lazy to check them self ? Is it really important to put descriptions below the video? Loool
That Wobble is beyond too much! It´s ridiculous! A table with so much wobble should cost like 65 bucks. One advice to the youtuber... if you want to be taken seriously, don´t sell yourself to cheap brands like this. Be sincere in all reviews. Otherwise it will be your end.
Sit or Stand? Which do you choose?

I have one from Autonomous. Standing desk are worth every penny. I use my stationary bike near it so I can ride and work at times.
I totally need to get a stationary bike while I work.
@@jbivphotography my wife laughed at me. I have to lose this Covid weight.

Does it hold steady with no wobble even side by side?

What brand?
Could you say what brand? thanks!
Jeeeezus that wobble is shocking!!! 😂😂😂
Oh man, that looked like some serious wobble. A daily desk should have zero wobble.
Flexispot makes the worst standing desk lol Guess this never used any others idk
Seems "VERY" wobbly... your test consisted of moving it side to side using only your fingertips and there was a good 2-3 cm wobble... Inaccurate description imo.
steability is awesome??? the side way wobble is bad as indicated in your video at 3:22. That kind of wobble is not good, right??

Funny, I was just looking at these the other day.
I read your mind. lol.
Yo, how scary is that. I was just researching standing desks.
@@elliottf07 John is good like that.
bruh, that wobble at 3:03 looks bad.

Just a question, if Flexispot asked me to review their deak, do I need to declare it in my tax even if I was not paid but they gave me the desk?
Nah , all good bro
Also interested in knowing where I could find this Ipad Stand (I saw many asked before me!)!
Ok, thing wobbles would of liked to see you edit photos with it extended using a Wacom or something.
Hi John, sorry I know this is an older video but what are the monitor stands you are using? Thank you

Great video. Super clean! Listen, quick question. Are you located in Raleigh?! One of your shots here is one of my go to spots for shooting 😁
I bought a Frame and a 6feet Butcher Block at Home Depot.

Did you get the 48'' x 24''?

Is the Jarvis desk worth the extra money?

They have a 48” x 30” option and bigger, you shouldnt have an issue
Thanks! I ended up going with 30 x 60 Uplift V2 markerboard top. Love it.

Per my view, this is really wobble. Thanks for your video and now I am switching to other site.
Glad it helped
GOOD VIDEO!!!!!
Glad you enjoyed it
Hi! What tablet stand is that
what's the size of your monitor? for reference
That's a 32" monitor
How does it not wobble too much? You touched it just a bit and it went Tsunami!!! Last time I'm watching your reviews!!
Sorry. To me that's not too much wobble. But again I don't have much experience with standing desks. This is my first ever one I've owned.
Nice. an hour isnt too bad for assembly.
It really isn't bad. It'd be much shorter if I had someone helping me assemble as well.

Yep yep. It’s the PD3200Q I believe. 2k 32” monitors. I love them.

From my use time it doesn't look like there's a way to operate the desk manually.
What monitor do you use ?
The one in this video is the BenQ PD3200Q. I recently upgraded to the BenQ PD3420Q.
1:45 for those who are wondering 154 pounds is equal to 69.853 kilograms.

It's the Apple Magic Trackpad. Works great with the iPad.
@@jbivphotography Sorry. I meant the mouse pad. The long grey one looks really nice.

I honestly don't know what good or bad wobble is. I thought that wasn't bad but I guess I must be mistaken.
