As a young man I owned a '72 midget in the late 70s. Drove the Pss out of it!!! Twice to Florida and back to Ohio stopping only fo gas in 17 hours and 35/45mpg. Very fun car for a young man, never had any major issues with it and did all my own maintenance. For old guys it's a tight fit to work on ...as you are learning!!!!!!!
I've gained a new appreciation for these older European cars. I've gotten to drive a Austin Healey Sprite and a Porsche 912 over the last few months as well. They all need one thing: WIDER TIRES
OMG! Cody if your friend bought that then DON'T offer to help him. The 70's MG are known for drive one day, need to be towed home, and spend the next 6 days repairing.
