Though Ik this is old, but just in case he ever comes up in another video, which I doubt cause for some reason Southern Miss players are slept on so much and never get the recognition they deserve to make it to the league, but anyways, it’s pronounced Allen-Zay
As of right now, he is on the Redskins practice squad .
And tbh, as a FelmLo and Southern Miss fan, I had always wished that he would’ve use Southern Miss as a dynasty team tbh, cause as a small team and in what I’d consider the worst conference in America (Conference USA), I’ll always stand by that we have always had such great talent for a team that is in a crap conference and also in Mississippi that isn’t MSU and that other college up north.
But if he was, I’d wish he’d use that 2008 roster which had Austin Davis, Deandre Brown, Damion Fletcher, and some greats on defense like Jamie Collins (who started his career @ USM as a free safety, moved to LB, and then went onto dominate on the D Line) along with Cordero Law, Martez Smith (who was an amazing LB, but sadly in his senior season, I think was his senior season, was sadly shot at a night club with 2 other teammates and was sadly paralyzed), Ronnie Thornton (a mf beast), one of the best TE I’ve ever seen in person tbh Shawn Nelson (man was like 6’6/6’7 with legit receiver speed and great hands), Freddie Parham, Gerald Baptiste (him and parham were 2 “undersized” receivers, but were some of the most consistent I’ve seen for their size at USM), Justin Wilson, Andre Watson, CJ Bailey (3 of the best dbs we had other than Kalan Reed who actually went to the titans but sadly lost out on his career due to career ending injuries, but Kalan has some of the most insane INTs and of you wanna see a DB make better catches than a receiver, look up Kalan Reed Southern Miss Highlights), a great Backup QB, Martevious Young, who held the team together to take us to at least a bowl game while Davis was injured, speaking of which, Austin Davis, Eddie Hicks (another great “db/safety” who would hit Mfs hard af lol, Gerald McGrath (another one of the best LBs the school ever had and was an absolute monster), Ed Morgan, Chico Hunter, Kendrick Presley (another great DB, which writing this comment just reminded me just how deep and great we were in the secondary that span of 4 or 5 years), Tory Harrison ( a great RB who played in the CFL and was such a great back who just hit the hole as fast as possible amd wasn’t scared to run straight up on Mfs), also Damion Fletcher (the best back to ever play at the school imo and sadly for being undersized never made the NFL, but I wrote a paper on him and his story and how it inspired me and it got published in our local newspaper lol, other than Derrick Nix who would’ve made the NFL of not for kidney issues that almost killed him, Ito Smith, and Jalan Richard who are both in the league, tho Ito is now a free agent sadly), An absolute beastly monster of a man Tokumbo Abanikanda, Korey Willams, Tim Green ( I’m pretty sure the other 2 who were involved in the shooting of Martez smith and were also shot themselves, but maybe it was another guy, but Tim Green for sure I think), Johdrick Morris (a great 3rd string receiver, but was only 3rd cause of how deep we were), Quentin Pierce (again another receiver who would stand out and be great once we lost Parham, Baptiste, and Brown), Terrence Pope, Dedrick Jones (part of a very strong, fast, and physical D Line), and Anthony Gray…
And Ik I named so many guys off, but in that span of 4 to 5 years while they were all there, they all were such huge playmakers and there for a min we were such a wonderful team and even beat #5 Houston to take away they’re amazing year to keep them from BCS game, and to get us ranked top 25.
Which I still think Fedora choosing to let us go to Hawaii Bowl instead of the game we deserved and we’re supposed to play in, was the one Houston played in vs Penn State, which Fedora was leaving and made the nonsensical decisions which once he did a lot of us were glad he left due to not giving us the chance to play great competition and in a higher paying bowl due to “Giving these boys an opportunity to go to Hawaii and play Nevada” smh. Once he did that no one was sad to see him go to North Carolina.
But yeah, sorry for the ling comment and Ik I named so many players, but go watch highlights from 2007/08 ish to 2010 and you won’t see a game where most of these guys impacted the game. And when we played Houston in the Conference Championship in Houston they all stepped up and showed out and mauled them.

Sadly, Allenzae was pretty underutilized in the offense when he was there. Ik that sounds crazy when you see he has those huge numbers that game, but he should have been a way bigger part of the offense than he was seeing that when they give him the ball or a chance he showed tf out.
