loved DHB as a person here in OAK. not his fault all the pressure was put on him as the 7th pick. Everyone had Crabtree as their #1 WR coming out in that draft but of course Al had to take a chance on DHB. Super fast yet he couldn't catch anything that came his way, although he had a few big moments with us. Im glad he can contribute on a different team now cant help but wonder if only he had been able to have had a chance to play with Carr. oh well
Went to high school with this guy. He was a class behind me, my brother was in his class but still cool to look back on. I was in the marching band and this dude single handedly brought us to Virginia football state champions! He was the QB and literally did so much, ran circles around defenses. Landstown High represent!

niners5x Yea u do got a point he dominated in college I mean he did win Heisman trophy but he really didn't in the NFL I don't know why he did win a super bowl tho
Why he is in the news all the time for playing for the Mets and their Farm teams. Saw him recently on HGTV, helping with remolding a home for free for 2 young boys who are physically disabled. He is still doing God’s work that is for sure!!
This is my favorite college player of all time behind Reggie Bush, thank you flemlo, but can do Reggie after he left the saints his numbers wasn’t the same , you can say that’s age but I know the expectations where high for him especially in Miami
Percy was absolutely electric for us in Minny. I have to say other than Moss he was the most talented freak the Vikings have ever had. Kick returner. Runner. Wide Receiver. He was ridiculous. Another aspect of his game was his ability to take hits and not go down. I remember a play against the Titans where he pinballed like 5 guys and scored a TD. Awesome player.
As a Vikings fan, he is one of my favourite Vikings players ever, alongside Randy Moss (Number 1) and Adrian Peterson. In fact, while he was at the club at the time, he was my favourite player, ahead of even Adrian Peterson, and I am a BIG Adrian Peterson fan.
I wish we had the opportunity to see him healthy in his NFL days. I always wanted to see Percy and Calvin Johnson play against each other in college. Great videos.
In my opinion, he's one the most underrated "all purpose yards" players to ever play. Check the stats. When he touched the ball, amazing things happened. Everytime. His gear shifting is one of a kind. 0 to 100 in one step. Was good times watching him play for Florida.
college friend of mine played vs harvin in that state title game his jr year...said he was jammin to his headphones during pre game with a half cut off on and was already built like an nfl player and was crazy strong, beyond elite hs talent
Definitely did your hw. At 12 he lead his 4x1 to an AAU National Championship and broke the record at the time (49.28 11/12) not just State. I was the first leg. He was a champion in every level of football since flag. Every single level. Best player I’ve ever played with and against. This is good stuff 💪🏾
Who say Soulja Boy ain't from the hood I get migraines about 3-5 times a week no joke and I had to stop playing baseball, football, and basketball for a whole year and now I can only play basketball and baseball because of my migraines. If Percy didn't have migraines and wasn't injured as much he could've been a really really good WR
Yeah I just mentioned that Percy had alot of head injuries. I knew he wouldnt play long after he won his ring. He was great but his health was definitely a concern
Percy Harvin is probably the closest I've seen to Mike Vick and Moss. So fast with so much agility that they just look like they're gliding, as if they've got two more gears if they needed it.
As a dude that’s had some migraines over the years theres really nothing worse. It starts with your vision, seeing blind spots, then nausea and ultimately light starts hurting you and you puke a lot. The only thing that fixed that helped was time and sleep.
As someone who suffers from Chronic Migraines I feel for the dude. It comes along with massive depression sometimes when you feel like you're letting everyone down around you, you cant do simple shit like fulfill your obligations in your life... man as an athlete I can't even imagine.

Funny story. As a kid i was a huge Adrian Peterson fan. I live in Indianapolis so when the Vikings came to town i had to go and try to get his autograph. My dad bought me tickets right next to the away tunnel so i could get his autograph. We arrived 2 hours early to try to catch him during his warm up. All i had on me was my 50th anniversary Adrian Peterson jersey. Before the game Adrian did not come out, but Percy harvin did. He was going down the line signing every kids stuff and he came to me and said “hey kid want my autograph?” And i looked at him, looked at my Adrian Peterson jersey, and said “no”. A few seasons later and we never heard of him again. Me and my dad still joke around that me telling him “no” demolished his self confidence and that’s why he’s no longer a big name player.
