      Thank you. I'm glad this video is helping you, glad to be a part of your successes in Dentistry.
      Ferric Sulphate is mentioned as a haemostatic agent in the video and is applied to stop pulpal bleeding. I hope that helps! Please keep visiting our channel as we are working on new videos as we speak.
      Take care!

    Can we place caoh and do gic filling instead of zinc oxide and stainless steel crown? It requires how many visits?

    • @Toothzy
      @Toothzy  4 года назад

      Hi, thanks for watching our video :).. Calcium Hydroxide and ZOE have different roles. ZOE is more of a sedative for the pulp and a stainless steel crown is gold standard (less risk of recurrent decay, breaking of tooth etc). You can place a GIC if your practice doesn't offer stainless steel crowns but success rate is lower

      @@Toothzy how many visits are required for this procedure.? Can we place zinc oxide eugenol and do gic filling in it If a primary tooth is going to shed after few months...

      @Toothzy  4 года назад

      @@Onlineshoppingstore814 if it's going to shed in a few months then yes, ZOE & GIC would be fine. If doing it this way, you would only need the 1 visit. If doing stainless steel crowns you would need 2 visits.

    this method indicated for primary teeth only??

    • @fatimasliem3312
      @fatimasliem3312 7 лет назад

      ملكة گلبي i think so cuz it fails in permanent teeth

    • @guerraines123
      @guerraines123 5 лет назад

      Yes, almost only for primary teeth because in permanent teeth usually have narrow (mature) apexes. Unless the root of the permanent tooth is still developing and the apexes are still large... in these cases you can procede with a Calcium Hydroxide (CaHO) pulpotomy. But if the permanent tooth is a mature tooth (done growing), then you need to do a traditional endodontic treatment, removing both coronal and radicular pulps.
