ZOE is more of a sedative for the pulp and a stainless steel crown is gold standard (less risk of recurrent decay, breaking of tooth etc). You can place a GIC if your practice doesn't offer stainless steel crowns but success rate is lower

@@Onlineshoppingstore814 if it's going to shed in a few months then yes, ZOE & GIC would be fine. If doing it this way, you would only need the 1 visit. If doing stainless steel crowns you would need 2 visits.
Yes, almost only for primary teeth because in permanent teeth usually have narrow (mature) apexes. Unless the root of the permanent tooth is still developing and the apexes are still large... in these cases you can procede with a Calcium Hydroxide (CaHO) pulpotomy. But if the permanent tooth is a mature tooth (done growing), then you need to do a traditional endodontic treatment, removing both coronal and radicular pulps.
