I have a quetsion, Ca(HO)² can resorb the primary teeth as I found in some researches so we don't do pulp capping with it in pedo, how can we use it to obturate?

madam i have a doubt about that during the third visit when we put temporary restoration over obturated root canal ,should we place and barrier like cotton pellet in between those two??? if we dont place then during the time of final restoration , when we excavate the temporary filling ,will not the cemented part of root canal be hampered???if you ans my question it will be very helpful for me....and madam thak you so much to be this much supportive ..you made out preparation easy during this time of pandemic...god bless you and keep going...

Apexification s we creating a barrier at the Apex.... Apexogenesis is allowing the tooth to form it's own Apex... Apexogenesis is not a single procedure.... It is a group of procedures like direct pulp capping, indirect pulp capping, partial pulpotomy... All of which is going to help the tooth to complete it's root formation
Spontaneous pain is a sign of irreversible pulpitis ma'am.how is that a indication?
Other than saline what one can use for irrigation in pulpectomy
Bleach, hydrogen peroxide, EDTA.

Pulpotomy is only done on primary teeth. Pulpectomy is done to permanent teeth to relieve pressure so you can prepare for a root canal.
Mam..in pulpotomy in primary tooth. Calcium hydroxide s contraindicated. As it causes internal resorption of tooth.

Calcium hydroxide doesnt use in primary tooth cause yes as you said it cause internal resorption, but we use it in permanent immature tooth that still open apex ..
when the blood is dull red we will go for pulpotomy ?
Sonam Tsering ...no ..if it's dull red we will go for pulpectomy (complete removal of pulp)...both coronal and radicular...dull red blood means that there is chronic infection and the radicular pulp is also infected

I whish I could work with you together. After years of studying in Germany it is not allowed to me to work as a dentist. I passed 15 of 16 tests in the last exams. All years wasting time 😢
My 3 years old daughter has a deep cavity and abscess. Dentist says it should be treated under general anesthesia. Would you recommend it? I'm really worried about such a little girl getting full anesthesia.
Consultant both pediatric physician and dentist together.

Medha Kapoor in my knowledge...once carious lesion involves the pulp..the pain will start ..so in pulpotomy there will be history of spontaneous pain ,,,means it's probably reversible pulpitis
