You are a brilliant drummer Patrik! I could listen/watch you play all day. Thank you for showing us all so many kits. Am buying myself this kit for Christmas.
my martini kit was $249.00 US. on amazon. the quality is better than the SQ1 Germany made kit. It had 4 workmanship defects. Thank god for guitar center who returned them with no problem.
I saw like all of these videos, but this one is perhaps the best, what an amazing drummer Patrick, absolutely creative and tasty ideas. No need for a crazy Neil Peart drumkit to showcase some serious drumming. Btw, the Sonor AQ2 Safari sounds spectacular, i would pair it with Paiste 900 series instead though. I think this one is hands down the best choice for rock drummers who wants/needs to go be bop.
This drummer is incredible is not getting the recognition well deserving. Sonor needs to inform viewers that buying these great drums may not make you sound and play like this drummer. But am sure will inspire you to better yourselves.
Onyxaxe what am I an interior designer over here? What is this the home and garden channel? What am I Martha Stewart in the head? C'mon will ya just stop with the rug questions already?
Very nice playing! Trying to decide between this and the Pearl Midtown kit. I like how the Midtown comes with chain clearance machined on bass drum hoop already for you and it comes with a 13" snare..I don't currently own a 13", so change, but also for one tiny stage, my legs 1" closer together may be beneficial. Otherwise, I like this Safari kit better, the hardware design etc. Any opinions between the two.?
I ended up buying the Ludwig Breakbeats and also just recently this in Red as they're slowly being phased out for Sonor's AQ 1 line. Both Ludwig and the Safari are amazing kits!
Great drumming as always but anything smaller than an 18" kick is a child's drum set...and there's nothing wrong with that. But why have a kick at all in this case?
That is one of the greatest little kits I've heard in quite a while. The kick is awesome.
Bought my Sonor Safari Kit after watching a ton of vids on em. They are amazing especially for the price and this guy is crazy amazing.
Definitely top 3 kit demos I’ve heard. This guy is great.

Great drumming and great tune!!
One of my favorite drummers I found on YT . Somebody please interview this guy , what bands has he played with ? Can I get a witness !
Patrik plays Yamaha
mareksteyer
Which particular model ?
He should be a worls drumming star
this guy could make any kit sound good nice kit !
exactly the problem....he makes every kit sound great so it becomes difficult to use this as a starter point to what kit to go for....
Just picked up one these kits . Love it
small kit. Huge sound! great drummer!
This guy's a legendary drummer
Damn, you're ripping that kit up! Nice work.

This guy blows my mind!!!!!
Great drummer!!!!
What a Gig Kit! Holy S*** That small kit is a beast. Nice tone. Drummer is burning it up obviously too.
I have this kit and it sounds really good
Same here, want to add another floor tom in that same color. Just have to find one.

That kick sounds killer!
How are you getting that drum sound? Nothing is mic'd lol
Eu amei lindão a cor top
This might be his finest hour
This guy upsets me!Too good!
Patrik, I am looking for a drum teacher, just wondering if there was any chance you might be able to oblige?
🤔🥁🍀👍
Interesting sparkling grape juice finish on those drums.
Love this kit i just buy it!!!

Where it,s microfons?
That bass drum!
My set sounds awesome really great for the price
Hey bro, could you test the "player" kit by sonor? That would be awesome because I'd love to buy it. Thank you
like the bass drum!
Could someone tell me the rug size?. Planning a layout and am new to drums. Thanks!
Onyxaxe what am I an interior designer over here? What is this the home and garden channel? What am I Martha Stewart in the head? C'mon will ya just stop with the rug questions already?
Did you do somethng to muffle the BD ?
No, there is no muffling in the bass drum.
this gent is amazing- not sure about those Paiste tho
Meu sonho bateria kit piqueno
I'll take a set if they make you play like that guy!
Nice!Could you test Ludwig Breakbeats aswell? That would be a nice comparison
Those sound fuckin incredible

Currently on this dillema, I am trying to choose between this one, the Midtown and the Catalina jazz, I play mostly jazz
Can I know what drumheads is he using?
Remo Ambassador Coated heads on snare, tom tom, floor tom, factory head type Powerstroke 3 clear on the bass drum.
Your grooves though of all these drums from your Tama, Pearl,DW,PDP ,Sonor I am still yet anything sounding better than PDP
Handy little kit to cart around...being Sonor , it would still be expensive.
I own this exact kit - paid $435 CAD about 6 years ago. Shells, FT legs and tom mount. Not a bad deal, it's paid itself many times over.
Ethan Markwart
Yes, sounds like a good buy...well done.
These sound better than the Pearl Midtowns.
Very good
you want to test sticks, cymbals, drums, percussion...Tony escapa.....Ricky Martin Drummer
Yeah forget the kit this guy is insane
top drummer
Great sticks but those Paiste's always sound so tinny and very little depth. Yikes !!
They sound great with a band, cut trough like nothing
Damnnnnnnnnn.
Great drumming. Cymbals much to be desired, however.
Great kit, awesome drummer, terrible choice of cymbals (heavy pingy awful ride with jazz kit???)
Mac Drummer I love the PST7s but yeah, not the right choice for this kit
Who the hell hits the side of a floor tom as a rim click!! A walk in the park for this guy. Inferior (me) :)
I put the martini and Safari together. Removed the wraps and dyed the shells the same color, posting a vid soon
Im lying
Great drumming as always but anything smaller than an 18" kick is a child's drum set...and there's nothing wrong with that. But why have a kick at all in this case?
Devin Allen. If a gigging drummer can't handle a regular sized kit maybe he chose the wrong instrument in the first place lol.
@@alfaholic3 i beg to differ. If a drummer cant handle this kit, then he doesnt need anything bigger..
@@Johnbrown-om8pbmaybe im missing something but that doesn't make sense.
Elvin Jones played a 12x16 kick.
M78 , Elvin Jones wasn’t areal drummer -
he was an alien ! 👍
A bit like expensive BREAKBEATS...🙂
Wow this boy is only 17 but plays Like 25 ...by the way bass drum is 16 by 15
Prefer the Gretsch Catalinas.
