They’re not a fan of anything from the Daylight era, ESPECIALLY Sinking (which I think is a fantastic fucking EP and they could at least play The Best …) Chances of them playing that shit again is very slim, most likely you’ll see them play some of Dispirit, Damp, *maybe* In My Dreams, and thats it. But you’ll probably have to be in PA, their homestate, to ever witness that, cuz they’ll prolly make it a very intimate showing if they ever decide to play old shit again haha
this shit is hilarious but I checked out their podcast the other day on a drrunk youtube wormhole and Taylor was wearing like an OG Daylight hoodie. I think they just moved past it, don't think they resent or dislike this ear. Few times I agree with a band changing names. (Also cus there was some like spanish easycore band called Daylight which is hilarious)@@Lynnfield3
@@omarion6831 The chorus to Selfish specifically comes to mind. Or Two Of A Kind. You just don't find that kind of passion in their newer stuff, there's still intensity but its different.
lmao the guy in the front with the Basement shirt had not listened to the guests whatsoever. his confused expressions throughout Daylight's set was priceless. on the other hand, I would love to see these guys play Selfish and Damp again. The Best is another great track, but that's from Sinking... oh well. great show nonetheless.
Thanks for this. They don't play these songs anymore for whatever reason. They mean a lot to me.
i guess it’s just because they’re not the band daylight anymore🤷🏽♀️

They don’t like their punk/hardcore stuff, from what I can tell, the band members have always been softies but just made heavy music for some reason.
