not everyone has the luxury of soundboard audio, this was a smaller venue space so its would've required payment to the sound guys to get more equiptment to record it. aka not worth it. Raw live audio sounds better anyways
Josh Linehan Well, here in Honduras, they don't charge you anything if u wanna record, bands usually bring a laptop and an audio interface and plug it to the board (just one stereo input, so the take is raw, if u wanna do it the quick way), here most soundboards are still analog (which sound better but are harder to record in a digitally editable way), but the good thing is to get the right stereo image and u could mix it with the sound from the camera. But this video is still great, I only pointed this cuz I haven't found any Superheaven live videos with soundboard audio.
what is it with people just blankly staring at bands during venues like this? there could at least be a pit behind the front row and they could be making sure no one charges at the members, but come on...
All of your comments are very ignorant. Why not let everyone enjoy a live show in their own way? The crowd isn't there to "dance" or "pit" for Superheaven, Superheaven is instead there to perform for them, let people (regardless of their color of skin, because your last remark was racist) decide how they feel comfortable enjoying a show, be it dancing or "staring blankly." as you put it.
