Very nice, I just purchased the Dell OptiPlex 3050 I3-7100T with 16gb ram (2x8) for $114. Canadian, still waiting for my 2tb ssd hdd, but I plan on using Batocera on my first build attempt....anyway, keep posting these good videos and Thank You.
What cpu? I suspect Ryzan 5 which I’d be reluctant to buy again. Bought a Ryzen 5 mini a while ago and it wouldn’t load batocera at all. In fact I’ve always encountered problems with AMD chips 😬
I have one of these on the way that I’m intending to do mainly for PS2. Same specs but with 16gb DDR4 in there. You think that will help more at all? Also, that’s sounds like Aphex Twin on Wipeout Pulse, dope.
Batocera v37 stable has been out for a few days now Pcsx2 emu now has setting for fractional upscale res option. So instead of only 1x,2x etc now you have a choice of 1.25x,1.5x,1.75x etc So for those harder to run ps2 games like God of Wa r 1 and 2 for eg you may able to increase those to 1.25..or 1.5..or maybe even 1.75x..depending on your PC specs ofcourse.
@@HumanoidMachines Yeah yabasanshiro is now working properly again. Whats your issue with Cemu? Its got a native linux version now so game performance is supposed to be a little better cause of that. If you mean file extensions for it then you should know wux extension support has been removed.
@@HumanoidMachines Actually I think the emulator itself still runs it but Batocera devs removed support for it for a reason, I could be wrong though. However I read that you can actually put it back, you just need to edit the ES cfg file (I think its that one) and type back in the extension, thats all. Something to look into?
Do you have the i5-7500T chip inside? Also recommend 8Gb of ram. I took the games resolution to 1x As for the general ps2 settings. Enter the console - Applications- pcsx2-config- config- General Settings- tick the preset box and move the slider to 3-Balanced
@@HumanoidMachines Thanks for the tip but...are you using batocera v37? I'm able to access pcsx2-config but can"t seem to find the preset box in the config...
@@TheAlucard63 I’m using 35. On the General Settings screen, the preset tick box is on the bottom left corner. Once it’s ticked you can move the slider to Balanced.
This is phenomenal, now on my wishlist!

More memory is always a good thing and yes, that is Aphex Twin on Wipeout pure. The whole series always used great music from the leftfield 😁

Many ps2 games are bin & Cue CD based Games,Did you have to Convert them to ISO before using or just keep them as bin & cue format ?cheeers
They will run in the Bin n Cue format. I convert all my PS2 games to CHD because the file size is much smaller without any quality loss
How you get the achievements and add some
Hello what option do you choose to make God of war work? It is pretty laggy on my 3050m...
