There's something grandiose about it... something solemn... and haunting too. Don't recall hearing any instrumentals from Interpol, but for a first, this one's a "bull's eye" ! Thanxxxx Paul, Dan, Sam... and still, even if absent, Carlos ! Great band, you are !
This is probably the best Interpol song ever written.... maybe... it's a close match between this and Precipitate. I hope Interpol can keep releasing albums after this... goddamn, I love them... agreed?
God damn, I wish Interpol would just have instrumental album. I like all their instrumental stuff a lot. It progresses better, sounds better, makes me feel better. Not taking anything away from their other music but I like this type better
Interpol are by far one of my favourite bands that I have ever listened to. Most of the Indie stuff nowadays sounds absolutely rubbish... so much so that I listened to nothing but metal for about two years... except for Interpol. Interpol has been the one constant band that I have always adored. How many bands can you honestly say put REAL emotion into their songs and their performances... no one can beat Interpol, absolutely heart felt.
As I walk on the st of Paris, I see you smile. More and more I miss your lips touch my own. How can I live with out you? Now I'm in Barcelona wishing you were here, the weather is like California. Do you remember when we kissed in Santa Monica. Come back to me....
this is a awesome video!I 've seen them two times in show, and after the show. They are 3 really good guys! And terrrrrrrrrrrrrible musician!I love them!Thank you so much for this video!you made my day!
@kooklibertine06, resulta ser que esta canción solo aparece en la versión japonesa del disco, pero ciertamente se puede disfrutar desde aqui en youtube, así que no awite...
Awesome picks¡¡¡ I just loved them¡¡¡ Hopefully you can tell us where did you get those :) And the song is just amaizing¡¡¡ Thank u so much 4 uploading it :D
+Ryan Torrance hey man that was more than a year ago. that was while I was preoccupied with school. now I have more time to work and actually bought the album
Hum :/ esto es tan injusto que hayan borrado a Carlos de las imagenes... la verdad no se que será de INTERPOL sin el creo que Carlos Ha sido Sub estimado
where the fuck did you find all these pictures? ive never ever actually seen promo photos of them during the 4th album its like a lost era also how the fuck did Paul age so bad in just 3 years? Like literally compare these to the OLTA era promo photos
Hey! We're a three piece band from El Monte, CA called The Red Pears. Interpol's music is a big influence of ours. We would really appreciate it if you guys could take the time to check our stuff out. Thanks!
@maklekan this really does kind of show why interpol's albums have gotten worse. they're too clean. souless. it worked the first time with antics because it was a new sound, but after that? both recent albums are just too produced and souless. interpol needs to make an album that takes them back to that raw, yet precise sound their first album had... or better yet, try something new for once.
@@BananaWorm It was a bonus track in other countries, I don't know why they remade it and released it without vocals for Self Titled, but they did. This isn't the original recording without lyrics, its like they were about to put it on the actual album but decided not to so just released it as a B side.
Gavilan/ Cubed (Third Demo) from the Turn On The Bright Lights: Tenth Anniversary Edition is actually one of my favourite songs.

Inspirational rolling joint music.
Intro reminds me 28 days later soundtrack a bit. :P
Fuck yeah man.
never made that connection, those movies have amazing music!
Interpol can do no wrong, ever.
Marvellous song, band number 1 in indie rock for me
Beautiful reflective music - there are so many great Interpol songs it is difficult to pick one favourite
Melhor banda da história

Yes, I sure miss the early days...
Serendipitous, goes exactly where you need it to go to remind of a part of yourself that you had forgotten, then leaves you there
If Interpol return with something of this calibre i'll be delighted.
Surely a movie score is on the cards?
woooooww that chord progression!! so dark!!
thank you posting this, along with so many awesome new photos of the band!
You are the master of all that is Interpol thanks leo18 the Jelle Wagenaar shots used are amazing and fit beautifully with this
Esta canción de interpol hace que recuerde al amor de mi vida, ¡Carla te amo!
Daniel
This song sounds real similar to the them to 28 days later.
I've seen Interpol least 5 times, never heard this one live. Got ticks for the anniversary of TOTBL show in LA I hope this one comes on.

@haniacorena It IS Cubed. Just without the vocals.

Good heads up for the unwary but I think it still works as an instrumental - great soundtrack
The version with lyrics is on the album TOTBL: Tenth Aniversary Edition

What's is better to download this version or the 10th anniversary version?

+Ryan Torrance how does downloading a $10 album compare to stealing a car ????

+Ryan Torrance I'm not trying to justify it. I just don't have many options.
Play at 1.25 speed
fuck you
What album is this on??! Why have I never heard this??!!! :/
Japanese edition only (on self titled Interpol album) :)
does anyone knows whose the oldest of the four ? cause Sam looks rly old compared to Paul Carlos and Daniel XD
@lancertreepuffer hahaha same :S
Sounds a little bit like Inception...
+4mageo The entire album matches goes really nicely with the Inception ost
"now what"????? Rewind.
What a discrimination this song only available for Japanese edition !! What about the rest of the world ?
Spotify has it
I wonder if Carlos is gonna do that thing that Dave Mustaine did
where can i download this?
Spotify
Elle ressemble à A time to be so small.

Why do people put the self titled album cover to this song when it’s technically from TOTBL
Uh, probably because this version was recorded and released for Self Titled.
@@carlitosdinkler5213 how? It doesn’t even show up as part of self titled but came out as a bonus track for the TOTBL 10 year anniversary
