If you walk into Salty Peaks skate shop in SLC on the wall in the back you can still see Mike Opalek's, and Arlo's signatures on the wall from when they went there during Hoax 2.

Oh wow, thank you guys so much for posting this. Hoax II had such a huge impact on skating back in the mid 90's. I probably watched it over 300 times back then. You knew something special was going to happen every time you popped in that red VHS tape. Great interview and content. Keep up the good work!
Grew up skating mid 90s in National City, San Diego, CA. Watching HOAX 2
Our neighborhood Legends were Earnie Villarino and "Lurch" Fagen. They were always cool with us, maybe Jr High, at the time. It was awesome they would skate with us, kick us down stuff. Wheels, wax, stickers, bearings, etc..
