That “dead pixel” in the stone happens because they add the stones to the wax and then cast it. If they were hand set stones this wouldn’t be a issue. Cost too much to have a flawed product.

@@johnnyninetytwo No problem, neither am I. But I am advocate for jewelry and a student of the art.
First every process starts with injecting a wax into a mold that is in the shape of the Cuban link.
Next most real jewelers would add the wax to a flask and start the burn out process. Once the wax is converted into metal they would then drill holes and diamond seats into the prongs and set the stones by hand.
But with pieces of jewelry like shown in the video. They will place the stones in the wax before it goes in the oven. The wax and stones are heated above 1300 F then the metal gets poured in the place of where the wax was.
Lost wax casting with stones in place is a inconsistent process resulting in stones being damaged due to the high temperature it is exposed to.
This is a common practice in mass produced (China) jewelry
Since Silver is a precious metal and moissanite is a forever stone there should be no flaws in a expensive piece of jewelry that should last forever.

Everybody who been to a swapmeet has. I got all my jewelry (except 1 pendant from icebox) from the Slauson and Inglewood swapmeets 10 and 14k francos and they do cost less than these bigger stores but mostly because they don't be having solid chains much they're hollow. But if you want a hollow to last get a thicc one imo 🤷🏾♀️
