Bernie wasn't here/there the. He broke up with George quite a bit before '83. The Talking Heads reaped Bernie's benefits/reward. God Bless Bernie for writing almost every single one of these tunes
They were jammin' for days ! I wish they had given the Brides of Funkenstein more spotlight....a short segment because they could sing and had great stage presence. I think they bailed out because they weren't getting any shine.
Their live performances mostly are always better than the actual studio album recordings. Seems like they can freelance a little more and emphasize certain portions of the song especially the BASS , it makes the songs a little longer but way better .
Over the years, seen countless live shows, with Sly one time at the old Capital Centre Over 50 members on stage at 1 time by far outside of Ringling Bros truly The Greatest Funk on Earth 🌎
Hell yes Public Enemy Number One those were the days what's happening everybody? I'm not from Houston rap a lot in Dallas Texas a quick shout-out to Big 50 in Dallas what's up boy

I’m sick of seeing this non-funkadelic Junie prancing & dancing & doing little else as funk mobster 🙄
Junie took over keys after Bernie, starting '78/One Nation. I personally think Bernie's Masterpiece is Funkentelechy, a THAT early '78 Tour was TIIIGHT
[and I think Bernie played that Funkentelechy Tour]
Junie helped make The Ohio Players awesome for years prior
