Their live performances mostly are always better than the actual studio album recordings. Seems like they can freelance a little more and emphasize certain portions of the song especially the BASS , it makes the songs a little longer but way better .

Prioritizing a solo album along with a concerted effort to elevate the marketing of his name is honestly the only true “mistake” George ever made with his Godlike ability to identity elite musical talent and a predisposition for stardom. His passing still saddens me beyond belief for someone I’ve never even seen in person let alone met, but with what he can do with the things I can hear who needs anything else

I saw Parliament Funkadelic at the funk festival held at the L.A. coliseum. I think it was 1978. Then i saw them again at the Santa Monica Civic auditorium. It was the early 80's. They sounded so damn good it was ridiculous. I love this band. The music is some of the best music I have ever heard. I dig the lyrics and the whole concept of the band. Amassing Music.
