I like the game, but it was unfinished, with terrible bugs and the worst graphics in the series. It also copy and pasted so much from City. Then there’s the whole black mask bait and switch.
I thought it was pretty good I didn't have a problem with the story and the gameplay felt the same as the other games and actually had good boss fights which I think arkham knight failed with and I didn't really have any problems with bugs and glitches
Arkham Origins is, ironically, the most memorable to me. The overall ambiance and the soundtrack, especially Jokers "Carol of the Bells", left deeper impressions in me than any of the other Arkham games, even if the gameplay is considered the worst out of the 4.
So agreed. I loved this version of the joker the most. That haunting girls smiling face, the version of bane and killer croc and Batman are all my favorite of them all and the way the story was told and unfolded. I really feel like this next game is going to blow everyone's minds. They are great at character and story delivery and I cannot wait to see what they have created with more tools at their hands.
I never understood why this game had such a hard reception. The Launch was abit bumpy but after all the bugs were fixed, i think it doesnt ashame in anyway the arkhamverse.
True. I will always say that the only problem this game had was from a technical and optimization point of view. If only they could re-release a patched version of the game for modern systems. Everything else was fun as hell.

As a story... my memories of Arkham Origins is an excellent- one of the best crime dramas in video game history. But it was not as good of a Batman game narratively. But to me, it was as good as any Batman game toe to toe in the credibility of its storyline. On the gameplay side some elements were lacking or bloated. The camera was too close to Batman and often left about a third of the environment hidden and made it unfairly more difficult. Additionally, the color scheme had plenty of black and white making nothing lit properly. Onto the bloat. Whether it was gadgets eith impractical usage, or the tedious and repetitive nature of the collectathon that Origins presented, nothing new in single player advanced the series. And yet its multiplayer was excellent. I would welcome a remaster on this game. While none of the bloat would likely be fixed the majority of what it lacks would be improved in simple yet notable ways. Pulling the camera back, recentering it and increasing the color gamut to "light" what needs to be lit would vastly improve the game in 2020.
I love the proto-batsuit in this game. He's loaded with padded armor because he hasn't got his technique down yet. The developers wanted it to look kit-bashed together. And this game had far better side missions than the two that came before it.
Nope i Played Origins 12 Times asylum 3 Times City 9 and Knight 6 and the best Sidequests are in City. Asylum Had only riddler and Knight has only the pyg which was good. Origins Had only the Mad hattet Quest sich was good
I was so happy to see this! This game is almost a masterpiece. I am so mad that everyone hates it for it being a spin off or not being made by rockstar or having a few glitches or it being too similar to the masterpiece of Arkham city. This is the second best Arkham game without question. It’s a perfect origin story, has incredible bossfights, and is full of great voice acting. When finishing I was blown away by how great it was and went right to the new game plus and even the I am the knight mode. It is completely beyond me of why so many people did not feel the same way
Luke McNamara thank you!!! This game showed me that WB games could make their own Batman game. I think they can KILL IT if they are able to make their own continuity.
It's a great game, but there were some real bad glitches during the launch of it. I ran into a glitch where you have to use the electric gloves to get an elevator to move, and no matter what I did, the elevator wouldn't go anywhere. Thankfully it was patched, though. I also feel like the combat in the game wasn't quite as refined as City's, or Knight's combat.
@@IWillResurface The combat and lay out was the biggest issue for me, and I also wasn't a big fan of how you leveled up in this game as it was completely different than the others, but aside from that it was great.
@@pgxgamer 😂 i have a little Story. I was 13 and it was my First big consoles Game after Minecraft and i didint know what skills are so i Played Origins in normal without skilling and the Bane Fight in the rooftop omg i Played 3 while das until i Made it
Actually is one of my favorite games after Asylum. City was okay and Knight didn't like it a lot cause the Batmobile/Tank missions. Although origins had a lot bugs and glitches😥.
Its a better game than Knight, so there's that. Origins at least had Bane and he was a threat. Knight had Scarecrow who was only a threat because Hamil Joker got in Batman's way.
I went back to it recently with that PSNow free trial. The cutscenes are great, the art-style I like, and while it drudges up stuff we're all too familiar with, it is a tight story. I like fast travel and I like how the world isn't made to traverse easily, it feels like a narrative technique to make you take in the world more when travelling it, rather than turning off and just spamming the grapnel and boost buttons. When it came out, it just felt like "another game", but playing it today, with the last Arkham game a year and a half ago with Arkham Knight in 2015, it felt quite good. But do the side missions as you play the main game, and always fast travel to get past the annoying bridge. My favourite part actually was the GCPD low-ranking criminals, it expands the world so much more just to be going after a street thug with a story. I wish they brought that back, constantly going up against the biggest villains can be fun, or it can make them pedestrian and repetitive.
All 4 arkham games are awesome and fun and full of actinon but Knight is my favourite, but this one is a 1000 times better than city and asylum, for me 1st is knight 2nd is origins, 3rd is city and them asylum.
What WB Montreal could do is upend the gadget system. By the time Knight came in the slew of Batman's gadgetry had swollen due in no small part to the mantra of "whats next?" in the current system. Think of what happened in God of War. Instead of evolving the traversal of Batman on the XYZ axis, instead they could have a deeper focus on a subteranean or interior environment a la Legend of Zelda, where the gadgetry is tuned to opening up extra areas and zones rather than exploring specifically the altitudes. Mind you, no one would wish for that to disappear, but many of Arkham's late stage additions to your core moveset became so esoteric as to not be useful. I recall clearly on multiple playthroughs of AK forgetting I had a skill or move because its practicality wasn't as suited as another skill in which I was already far more comfortable with. Lastly, the vehicular side of Batman needs an overhaul. The batmobile mever shined quite so much as it had during the challenge sections and Mr Freeze DLC. And that was because the events were suited for the vehicles behaviours. A memorable section with the Batwing dodging court of owl drones to protect cityhall anyone?
Origins was good. Loved it then, love it now. I really liked the batcave. I even got the collector's edition. I drew alot of attention when I walked out of the store with that bad boy.😎 I think it fits just fine with the other Arkham games.
i loved Origins. My second favorite in the series after Asylum. The story is fantastic and the boss battles are the best in the series. I also quite liked the murder mysteries where you could do detective work. Also, Origins had the best Mad Hatter sequence imo
Giving it a second chance? It should've always been everyone's go-to game in the Arkham series. It's literally the only game that has REAL boss fights and really good gameplay. It's top 3 Arkham games for me.
In my opinion the most underrated of the series. And I know it was made by a different company but it is an absolute travesty that this game has not been remade in HD.
i remember beating this game and i thought "what? that's it? i want more! this game is awesome!" i don't understand the hate and bad reviews. i would choose origins over knight anytime.
I played this game after hearing the negative reviews ,but was surprised that it was amazing, the boss fights were perfect especially deathstroke, and the suit was awesome, never really understood the bad reviews.
I honestly thought this game was just as good as Arkham City and was just as fun. The story was good, boss fights were unique, and each of the assassins had enough personality to make them easy to remember. -Deathstroke had experience and was calm -Bane used brute strength -Firefly loved destruction
One thing I love about Origins is that Batman and Gordon have bona fide character arcs, something the Rocksteady games never really did, or at least not well.
I loved the dynamic between Batman and Joker. It felt like a proper introduction to the Arkham universe and Roger Craig Smith killed it as Batman. My only problem with the game was that Gotham, which was bigger than in Arkham City, felt somewhat empty and unused. I got faith in WB Montreal's new Batman game.
Another Big problem is continueity errors and plot holes which WBgm Also made in Origins blackgate and a matter of family that's why hope the rumors About the new game being in a new universe are true so they literally Cant make continueity errors and plot holes
Yes, I would like to see another Arkham Origin game being developed, like imagine you're facing The Court Of Cowls and the Talons as the new boss to play as either Batman or Nightwing. Also, Doctor Death as the new villain from the 2011 52 comics of Batman.
Most underrated Video Game Batman Arkham Origins It's not even up for debate in my opinion origins by far is one of the most unappreciated works of art in the modern age and has been snubbed multiple times it should've been in the return to arkham as well as many other collection AND should've been re-released after the ps4 came out less than a month later my favorite batman title to date followed by city knight and asylum just because it doesn't change up what had already been done doesn't mean it's bad if it ain't broke don't fix it this game is amazing from its plot to the atmosphere which is a nice change of pace since RockSteady just has their games take place on any ol random no one gives a shit night
I've written volumes over the years defending this game. It delighted me from the first play through, and it ingrained itself into me during my six or so attempts to beat it in I Am the Night mode, which I failed to achieve primarily because of Bane. The pacing, the tone, the score, the voice work, the aesthetic, the DLC, and the setting were all wonderful. Here are a few of the standout moments for me: 1) The Year One feel. I loved that Batman was a rumor, untrusted by the police. Rocksteady established this to be just a few years before Arkham Asylum, but I choose to think that the later games take place a full ten years later. I love this rough proto-Batman and... 2) The true meaning of the title. The name Arkham Origins is easy to dismiss, but this game does a superb job, if you let it sink in, that all of these things that make up Batman are happening for the first time. Between the cracks, if you scan all the monument collectables, it tells a haunting story of the foundation of Gotham and the roots of what was Arkham Asylum, culminating in the announcement that the old place would be opened again. It's subtle but chilling. This is truly the origin of all that is to come. 3) Like... The Shiva tie to the League of Shadows and her storyline bringing us to the base of Wonder Tower, where R'as al Ghul will stage his ultimate plot in City. 4) Like... Being inside the steel mill when it was still Sionis's turf and literally creeping in the ceiling rafters above the office just like Marty McFly did above the stage in Back to the Future 2. So much happens in that place in City and the Harley Quinn DLC. 5) Like... The Nygma data packet collectibles. This was one of my favorite storylines in Origins. He wasn't the Riddler yet. The collecting and hiding of data packets to blackmail Gotham was written organically as something Batman stumbled into and foiled, which perplexed and maddened Edward into becoming the Riddler. He didn't hide them as a game for Batman; it was just a job he took. The final 100% reveal of seeing the prototype for the first Riddler trophy was brilliant. It gives more meaning to the trophies and puzzles in the later games, as if he's trying over and over to win a version of that night he first lost against Batman. 6) Meeting Barbara. I love how she was handled in this game as the spunky, intelligent daughter of the commissioner who was able to hack into Batman's com in one of the funniest moments in the game. She's his first ally beyond Alfred. The entire game shows Bruce slowly accepting the help of others, and she's the first one to worm her way into his world. Knowing her fate makes seeing her young and spry all the more tragic. 7) The Deathstroke battle. I've played it at the highest difficulty enough to learn how to navigate it so that he never jumps up to launch the barrels. Call it a Quicktime event if you want to, but when you play through it perfectly, it's kinetic, cinematic, and a welcome alternative to the normal combat. 8) Likewise, the Copperhead battle is crazy good. You really have to be on your toes and at the top of your game with her. Though... the geography of her wing of the steel mill doesn't make sense compared to the exterior of the building. :-) 9) The entire adventure through The Final Offer. Penguin doesn't take Batman seriously, and he manages to get the best of him here. Maneuvering through the ship is the game's second-most unique experience after the hotel. "Naughty! Proper naughty!" I love the moment when you finally emerge outside and are immediately confronted by the message from Anarky. 10) Beating firefly across the bridge was one of the most unique battles in all the Arkham games. The stakes were high, the threat was real, and the playground across which they fought was epic. 11) The Joker. I put this Batman-Joker story right next to the opposite bookend, the Joker psyche storyline in Arkham Knight. Troy Baker gives a fantastic performance channeling Mark Hamill while making his own as a younger, more sinister version. Think about it. This is the only time in the Arkham series where we see the Joker out there just being the Joker, blowing s*** up and causing chaos. I love how they don't understand each other, underestimate each other, and then come to be locked in the beginning of their symbiotic relationship over the course of this game. I loved playing the Red Hood origin scene. I loved seeing him meet Harley, especially when she thought he was talking about her when he was talking about Batman. 11b) Our first, unannounced glimpse of the Joker in the crime scene recreation, when some mystery figure appears, and Batman first begins to wonder who this person is. It's done so, so well. In subsequent playthroughs, when you know it's him, it's haunting to see this pixelated, undefined shape sneaking in from the balcony. Later, under Gotham, Batman hears the name "Joker" for the first time and has no real reaction, similar to Bale's Batman at the end of Batman Begins. "I'll look into it..." 12) The Cold, Cold Heart DLC is astounding. I love everything about Mr. Freeze in the Arkham games. He's a standout in City. His DLC in Knight is the best of the best. His origin story in Origins, told through the crime scene investigation mechanic, is one of my favorite parts of the game. 13) "I don't patter." 14) The way the Santa hat thug is so dismissive of Batman at first. "No. No. Stop. Stop." It's priceless. He doesn't take this freak seriously at all... until he's dangling from atop the bank building clock. 15) The way the game teases out the city at first and then gives us that great rooftop reveal after the first Nygma jammer. It navigates us across the bridge to introduce the first random act of violence and grapnel boosting. Then, tracking the Penguin gave a brilliant tour of what will become Arkham City. 16) Batman and Jim Gordon's relationship. Jim is beginning to understand who this guy is over the course of the game, but he's still got a job to do. They have a great scene on the bridge after the Firefly fight. Their scene near the elevator before the Blackgate riot is perfection. Their scene in the chapel at the end is the genesis of all that's come. So, yeah. I've given this game a lot of time, thought, and love, and it's among my favorite games of all time. I could keep adding to this list all night.
After playing Arkham Knight and being able to zoom around the city way faster than all the other games and I'm not even talking about using the batmobile , I can't go back to the other games. Moving around just feels so slow compared to Arkham Knight.
Im with you there on movement. That blew me away to move that fast and nimble in knight. When I go back to origins I just have to sacrifice the joy of fast flight for the sake of getting a great story and character development. Origins just sticks with me but definitely after playing knight. I hope everything from there forward hits that same satisfying feeling of flying and agility. I can put in knight and just enjoy zooming around the city alot like the spider Man game but none of the other Batman games are enjoyable to fly around in. You're right. Your just SO SLOW compared to knight maybe this next one will hit it out of the park. Movement and character/story/city design
Origins is probably my favorite of the bunch. I do love City and Asylum, but I felt that those were fan service. Especially with Kevin Conroy as the voice of Batman. He is my favorite Batman voice actor, but I enjoyed Roger Smith’s version in this video game. Origins has so many Easter eggs in it, that if you read the comic books and watched the cartoon, you would catch. It was subtle nods that Batman fans needed. I played hours upon hours with Origins and was deeply scared of the Bane level. That was a level that won’t let me play this game again. So what I did with Batman at the end of this game was place him where Batman began, Crime Alley. I won’t put it back into my xbox again.
This game was fun in every way for me. IDK where all the hate was. Even though Kevin and Mark were not in it, I loved Criag and Troy, they did excellent jobs. The graphics were the best, second only to AK. And the multiplayer was surprisingly fun. And Jokers theme.
Never played Origins, but saw an interview Roger & Troy did for the game. It's crazy how they gave the characters a different energy, that wasn't delivered before. If they return as Batman and Joker, cannot wait
Origins was a different take on the same formula and I personally loved it. It didn't detract from Rocksteady's series in the least so I'm not sure why people would hate it. In fact, I wasn't even aware it was polarizing until now and I played it on release
While people hated Origins because they felt it was like an extension to City. I feel that was one of it's strengths. Because the combat system was basically identical to City, i can play Origins and City without ever fearing of losing muscle memory (unlike when i play City the for the first time after i played Asylum).
There are no Batman games that could beat this one to me. It has the most beautiful story and goes deep into every charachter with a cinematic perspective (its the strongest part of the game) and makes other arkham games more meaningful. I don't think other Batman games introduced charachters good enoguh compare to this one. You really feel Gotham in this game atmosphere is way better feeling chrishtmas and Gotham's darkness in the same time and seeing what kind of a shit hole Gotham is those rotten cops, mobs and people who doesn't stand up because they're scared and then Batman comes and becomes a symbol something encourages people to stand up, something againts corruption. But the part I loved most is how this games shows charachters I mean we've never seen gordon, alfred, bane and joker this deep in other arkham games. You also understand why Joker obsessive about Batman explains their relation and seeing criminals origins. Cinematic cuts and soundtrack are amazing gets me everytime and younger Batman was a good choice best Arkham game ever (Knight might be better).
My personal favorite Pros: Best boss battles The ending scenes with Bane made you feel intimidated and him and joke's interaction was dope Cons : The electric gloves didnt make sense longterm lol The combos that would end because the company that made the game said Batman wouldnt be so good a fighter just in year 2 Glitches
I love Batman Arkham Origins, was a little disappointed they never released it for PS4 with the Return to Arkham collection. I prefer to play in chronological order, but I have to switch systems to achieve that 😫 Never understood the hate, I thought the story was rather good. I once heard someone that didn't like it say there's nothing wrong with the story, story is what matters dangit. It's not like the gameplay is too different than Asylum & City, just the gliding on Arkham Island. Also the grappler accelerator is different than the grappler boost, the bost is actually faster than the accelerator. Most of the bugs were patched, and if they'd remaster it I'm sure they'd patch more
I actually liked it. They got two opinions of their employees and had them type out a script defending their own opinions. Better to me than just a single opinion tbh.
@@EddieFreak The concept is fine but they did it in the most detached and unnatural way, especially if these guys work in the same company, surely they could just record an actual back and forth in person.
I didn't play the game, but watched every cutscenes from the game as a movie on RUclips. One of the greatest Batman movies I've ever seen. Loved the relationship between Batman and Joker.
Origins was never bad besides the bugs. You can’t change my mind. I’ve never thought it was bad, and didn’t know people didn’t like it until years later.
Origins is my favorite Batman game. The christmas setting reminded me of Batman Returns Gotham. The music. That scene where he grabs the goon in the hat shows is white eyes staring down was awesome. The boss fights were a lot better and the crime investigations and the batcave, not to mention showing Alfred as a character, were a first for the series. The DLC was better than the other games. I loved playing as Batman when the cops were still out to get him. Very much Batman Begins feeling. It felt to me, like the most BATMAN of the series.
Borrowed Origins this very month and played the hell out of it. Just finished Arkham City this year. I love Origins' story, definitely my favorite of the 3 I've played. Such great moments: dissecting the Joker/Black Mask crime scene, the incredible Royal Hotel level, Joker meeting Harley Quinn for the first time, the evolution of Alfred's acceptance of Bruce's decision to be Batman--not just that it's something he has to do for himself, but something he has to do for the world. These are class act moments that bring to mind all the emotions I've felt from a lifetime of being an incurable Batfan. I'm thrilled to find out WB Montreal is gonna give the series another go
If you combined the boss battles and Chris Drake's soundtrack from Origins, the interior level staging from AA, the story beats and technical precision from AC, and the Batmobile from AK (with less damn tank battles), you'd have the perfect Batman game. I also loved the core idea of someone putting a hit out on Batman - something that naturally makes for awesome boss battles.
In many ways this game was, to me, a lot more enjoyable. Especially when it came to the cutscenes, I deeply enjoyed them, and the soundtrack made them shine even more. The gameplay could’ve been better but the overall feeling and vibe of the game was very well done
I love Arkham Origins. Third favorite Arkham game behind City and Asylum. I play it every December. Not sure what you mean forgettable. It great game (outside of the bug problems). You probably vetting confuse with Arkham Knight. That one was forgettable.
TBH Origins was and remains my favorite Batman game to date. I wish it got a remastered version. The boss fights, the crime scene investigations, the bat cave, talking to Alfred, changing the batsuits in game! Yeah it kept the same mechanics as City but the story was better than City's or Knights.
I remember the game feeling like a WB animated movie, and a pretty solid one at that. It’s got maybe the best or second best narrative (depends on how you wanna compare to City) and feels fairly confident in itself.
When this game came out people were only shitting on it because it wasn't developed by Rocksteady. Personally I think this game is better than Arkham Knight and City but that's just me I like all the Batman games but this is the best one and it's a damn shame it did not get to be a part of the remaster.
I feel like nobody have ever talked about how this game showed Batmans personality, and how it changes throughout the game. It was the first game that truly nailed the relationship between Joker and Batman, it was freaking love story between them. And Batman is going through the biggest self-improvement to work with other people and not being alone for everything.
All i ask, is that the new batman game gets a switch port, cause i never played the trilogy, cause i didn't have the xbox or ps3 to play the others. So I'm quite fond of origins on the wii u.
Perhaps we should let WB know we want a remaster. If there is one game that deserves it it's this one. On ps3 launch the game was littered with poor frame rate and crashes. The game could do with a freshen up.
I love Origins, can't get why it's not loved as much as other batman games. best boss battles.
if rocksteady was the company , they wouldve gave it a 9 or something. The game was pretty much on par and did boss battles way better

Hahahahahhahahahahahahhahahhaah. The next one... I think Arkham Knight was the end. WB did their part. Most leaks of Arkham insurgency are fake I unfortunately don’t think we will see a new Batman game
Thank you for the hope!!!

This comment is a joke.
you fool, you absolute buffoon, you were incorrect, false, wrong, even.
Blake Cacini I just want another Batman game 😩.
I loved it when it came out. It easily has the best boss battles in the entire Arkham series
Origins still has the best fights. I actually enjoyed this game more than City. Ya I know I'm in the minority, I even loved the batmobile from Knight.
My man..
Origins deserves so much better
Finnaly! Someone who loved the batmobile in knight. The tank fights with the batmobile was so much fun! (A bit too much missions with it tho)
@@Arkhamman2023 Agreed.
deucezulu22 Umm Knight had the best fights
Origins always forever be masterpiece to me
Masterpiece. That's a little overboard.

I always loved Arkham origins and I still do I think Arkham origins is a great game in my opinion
This was a great game and the voice acting was perfect.
Give me a remastered version of Origins!!!
Lui s We need a remaster of all the games for Ps5 and Xbox x series!!!!
For switch
I’ve seen a million videos in my feed about how this game is underrated. Time for a rerelease methinks
We want a remastered version asap
+
I love the proto-batsuit in this game. He's loaded with padded armor because he hasn't got his technique down yet. The developers wanted it to look kit-bashed together.
And this game had far better side missions than the two that came before it.
Nope i Played Origins 12 Times asylum 3 Times City 9 and Knight 6 and the best Sidequests are in City. Asylum Had only riddler and Knight has only the pyg which was good. Origins Had only the Mad hattet Quest sich was good
I'm a HUGE Batman fan and I thought the game was outstanding!!! The game wasn't perfect, but the game was tons of fun!
Game was fire, if it had a Rocksteady logo on it they wouldve gave it a better review.
Wait you Bet the i am the Knight Mode. I Played it 12 Times and only came to Simonis industries
It not a Spin Off
All I remember was that the dodge/parry detection always seemed a bit off to me compared to Rocksteady entries
It was, the Bane Boss fight was nearly impossible on the hard difficulty because of this I wanted to pull me hair out
@@pgxgamer 😂 i have a little Story. I was 13 and it was my First big consoles Game after Minecraft and i didint know what skills are so i Played Origins in normal without skilling and the Bane Fight in the rooftop omg i Played 3 while das until i Made it
Origins is my favorite of the franchise-and if we can get court of owls , we can get the order of St. Dumas as well
Actually is one of my favorite games after Asylum. City was okay and Knight didn't like it a lot cause the Batmobile/Tank missions. Although origins had a lot bugs and glitches😥.
Yeah origins was sick, city was overrated, and knight sucked ass
@@Clowncentral101 you're a cliché this popular thing everyone likes yeah it's oVeRRaTeD
Arkham city is best why you say ok
I always thought the graphics were dope af in this game. I loved the xmas winter vibes. The fight against Deathstroke 🔥🔥
As well as the dlc having a stellar campaign , dont forget to play the 'Bruce Wayne' missions . I nearly missed those and they are brilliant!
Its a better game than Knight, so there's that.
Origins at least had Bane and he was a threat. Knight had Scarecrow who was only a threat because Hamil Joker got in Batman's way.
Bane had my heart pounding lol
Deathstoke fight is one of the best boss fights in gaming history
I never played the DLC so going to revisit this game.
It was actually pretty good
I went back to it recently with that PSNow free trial.
I drew alot of attention when I walked out of the store with that bad boy.😎
I think it fits just fine with the other Arkham games.
What came in the collectors edition? I love hearing about this stuff
i loved Origins. My second favorite in the series after Asylum. The story is fantastic and the boss battles are the best in the series. I also quite liked the murder mysteries where you could do detective work. Also, Origins had the best Mad Hatter sequence imo
I loved Origins when it came out. Best Joker IMO, I know it's not Mark but seeing a young peak Joker and that Deathstroke fight. Amazing
Its my favorite joker as well, this game is so iconic to me and I always enjoy replaying it. The story is great and all the characters are perfect.
Giving it a second chance? It should've always been everyone's go-to game in the Arkham series. It's literally the only game that has REAL boss fights and really good gameplay. It's top 3 Arkham games for me.
It's a really good game but not the go to game in the series
In my opinion the most underrated of the series. And I know it was made by a different company but it is an absolute travesty that this game has not been remade in HD.
i remember beating this game and i thought "what? that's it? i want more! this game is awesome!"
i don't understand the hate and bad reviews. i would choose origins over knight anytime.
Love Origins. The suit design, the characters, the snowy landscapes. And yeah the soundtrack gives you such an erie/noir like feeling.
I played this game after hearing the negative reviews ,but was surprised that it was amazing, the boss fights were perfect especially deathstroke, and the suit was awesome, never really understood the bad reviews.
I love the new look of Batman, yeah the story was ok, but the atmosphere, music, and gameplay was absolutely outstanding. 8/10
I want all of the Arkham game to be available on Nintendo switch :)
I would love Batman on the switch! This and MGS.. and far cry 3 also.
I really want this game on the switch
I honestly thought this game was just as good as Arkham City and was just as fun. The story was good, boss fights were unique, and each of the assassins had enough personality to make them easy to remember.
-Deathstroke had experience and was calm
-Bane used brute strength
-Firefly loved destruction

Batman Arkham Origins needs a Remaster.

Most underrated Video Game
Batman Arkham Origins
It's not even up for debate in my opinion origins by far is one of the most unappreciated works of art in the modern age and has been snubbed multiple times it should've been in the return to arkham as well as many other collection AND should've been re-released after the ps4 came out less than a month later my favorite batman title to date followed by city knight and asylum just because it doesn't change up what had already been done doesn't mean it's bad if it ain't broke don't fix it this game is amazing from its plot to the atmosphere which is a nice change of pace since RockSteady just has their games take place on any ol random no one gives a shit night
This one definitely had me the most hype to play
Don’t sleep on Arkham Origins. It’s a fantastic game. One of the best prequels I’ve ever played. It deserves a remaster
Here are a few of the standout moments for me:
1) The Year One feel.
9) The entire adventure through The Final Offer.
"I'll look into it..."
12) The Cold, Cold Heart DLC is astounding. I love everything about Mr. Freeze in the Arkham games. He's a standout in City. His DLC in Knight is the best of the best. His origin story in Origins, told through the crime scene investigation mechanic, is one of my favorite parts of the game.
13) "I don't patter."
14) The way the Santa hat thug is so dismissive of Batman at first. "No. No.
I don't know what's the problem either, it's was my favorite Batman game on PS3.
I played all 4 games and Origins is far the best in my opinion, I enjoyed it so much more than the others.
Played it for the first time this month. I love it. Some minor glitches here and there, mainly with the Deadshot scenario. I love the detective work
Origins was a different take on the same formula and I personally loved it.
Storywise arkham origins is my favourite arkham game.
Dude perfectly said 👌
This game should be much more beloved than it actually is. The story is incredible and Boss fights are the best in the series in my opinion
My personal favorite
Pros:
Best boss battles
The ending scenes with Bane made you feel intimidated and him and joke's interaction was dope
Cons :
The electric gloves didnt make sense longterm lol
The combos that would end because the company that made the game said Batman wouldnt be so good a fighter just in year 2
Glitches
I love Batman Arkham Origins, was a little disappointed they never released it for PS4 with the Return to Arkham collection. I prefer to play in chronological order, but I have to switch systems to achieve that 😫
Never understood the hate, I thought the story was rather good. Most of the bugs were patched, and if they'd remaster it I'm sure they'd patch more
I played it in 2013, and I’ve remembered it since. As a younger person, I was obsessed with the story and more! I found origins probably the best.
Wait, LONG *HALLOWEEN* TAKES PLACE ON CHRISTMAS?! That doesn’t make any sense whatsoever. The title literally says Halloween!
What on earth is with this extremely staged and awkward "back and fourth?" lol
I actually liked it. They got two opinions of their employees and had them type out a script defending their own opinions. Better to me than just a single opinion tbh.
@@EddieFreak The concept is fine but they did it in the most detached and unnatural way, especially if these guys work in the same company, surely they could just record an actual back and forth in person.
It was de game we deserved, but not the one we needed. I love this game.
You dislike origins because Arkham knight kept all the good things, and improved on everything else in the game, i.e. story, graphics, and flying
I didn't play the game, but watched every cutscenes from the game as a movie on RUclips. One of the greatest Batman movies I've ever seen. Loved the relationship between Batman and Joker.
This was my first favourite game of the series
Origins was never bad besides the bugs. You can’t change my mind. I’ve never thought it was bad, and didn’t know people didn’t like it until years later.
I've always loved Origins and never understood the negativity it initially received.
Because it made so much continueity errors and plot holes and had so Many technical issues
@@captainbeastwinger4940 plot wholes?
I'm thrilled to find out WB Montreal is gonna give the series another go
I’m currently replaying this game on my new pc and what I really like (and forgot about), is that you can play challenge maps as Deathstroke.
It was great except for the multiplayer lol. I wish the Arkham series would stop trying to forget it existed.
Better story than knight
Im a huge batman arkham fan origins was super fun especially the DLC
I loved the Knightfall skin
Origins is the only game I didn’t play at launch. I’m playing it now and I like it more than City and Knight.
A second chance ? It’s good as is , it’s always been good , pretty sure Batman talked the most in this game too
The one click to defeat electrocutionar was too much
If you combined the boss battles and Chris Drake's soundtrack from Origins, the interior level staging from AA, the story beats and technical precision from AC, and the Batmobile from AK (with less damn tank battles), you'd have the perfect Batman game. I also loved the core idea of someone putting a hit out on Batman - something that naturally makes for awesome boss battles.
Origins is very underrated. For me it 10 times better than City, and almost as perfect as Knight.
Court of Owls vs Ra's all Ghul? That would be freaking AWESOME!!!
This game should have a remasterd version for the next generation consoles
I remember really enjoy this game
TBH Origins was and remains my favorite Batman game to date. I wish it got a remastered version. The boss fights, the crime scene investigations, the bat cave, talking to Alfred, changing the batsuits in game! Yeah it kept the same mechanics as City but the story was better than City's or Knights.
I remember the game feeling like a WB animated movie, and a pretty solid one at that. It’s got maybe the best or second best narrative (depends on how you wanna compare to City) and feels fairly confident in itself.
It haves excelent pacing too
When this game came out people were only shitting on it because it wasn't developed by Rocksteady.
And Batman is going through the biggest self-improvement to work with other people and not being alone for everything.
love all 3 first games, hate batmobile in last game
All i ask, is that the new batman game gets a switch port, cause i never played the trilogy, cause i didn't have the xbox or ps3 to play the others. So I'm quite fond of origins on the wii u.
Just remaster it for PS4/XB1 already
Perhaps we should let WB know we want a remaster. If there is one game that deserves it it's this one. On ps3 launch the game was littered with poor frame rate and crashes. The game could do with a freshen up.
