The interviewer was so clever and thoughtful with her line of questioning. It was endearing and you could tell she knows cinema and appreciates what SCREAM means to fans

Perri is the best interviewer ever. She always has the best questions and goes beyond generic questions that the cast has already answered many times.

this interviewer was great and very thoughtful; she asked some great questions and still managed to not spoil anything. I personally loved scream six, and all of the characters really came together. Even without Sydney it was a great movie and completely exceeded my expectations.

Real knives are probably cheaper than prop knives. Real guns usually are. Hence why Art of War with Nicholas Cage, the production team bought actual firearms, and "borrowed" a few tanks from an arms dealer who needed the tanks back to sell to a person in Libya. So much weaponry was purchased that the country they were filming in GENUINELY thought that an invasion was taking place. Once they explained it was just props for a movie, showed all their paperwork and things were checked out, everything was fine.
I think she meant prop as in retractable, you can use sound FX the mimic the sound of a knife scraping metal. No reason to use real knifes ever because fake ones can be made so convincingly now
@@henryblvd8635 I didn't mean they used metal for the scraping sound, that would have to be added in later anyways as it would be too quiet to hear with the background noise. A Foley artist would likely create the sound in post production. And yeah, they probably can make prop knives cheaply. But you can clearly see that that blade is metal. So even if it's not sharp it could still hurt someone. Blunt blades are actually far more dangerous than sharp ones. If you look up "actors who were actually injured while filming" you'll see what I mean.
And the reasons for why sharp knives are safer varies, but if someone were to stab you in the gut with a sharp knife, it would slide in and out like it was passing through warm butter, leaving clean cuts throughout the depth of the wound. But if someone were to stab you with a blunt knife in the gut, the blunt edge of the knife won't cut like the sharp knife, it will be like if you pick up a shirt and try to stab your finger through the fabric, it'll pull at your skin, and other tissues until they tear jaggedly and it will have jagged tears all throughout the depth of the wound, plus injuries from blunt force trauma like getting punched in the stomach due to needing more force to penetrate the body, on top of a more horrific stab wound that will require far more reconstruction to resolve injury to bodily structures.
its really different for every movie. for the first few they used a retractable knife for shots in the first 3. but in scream 4 a lot of the shots had the blade cgi'd in. not all of them though. some shots where there is less movement or violence they will use a real blade since its static it'd be easier to tell if its real or fake on camera. but in fight choreo when its constantly moving you can get away with cgi or retractable blade. maybe courtney meant that some frames they used a real knife? not sure.

Mason and Jasmine continue to be my favorites from the core 4 cast. Their interviews are the most clever and entertaining. They play off each other like real siblings.
I loved the opening. It threw me off and I had no idea if there was one killer or two or how many after that. 6 was much better than 5 for sure

Yeah, that was such a bizarre thing for Jenna to say. Also, she kind of puts down her character's characterization in the 5th movie? Does she even like doing these films?
Are you actually this dumb or trying to be this dumb her character had no development in the first one the new one is where she gets development and yes mostly all of them have been in woodsburrow and the ones that haven’t been were going back to woodsburrow the new one doesn’t go back to it do you even like watching these

@@1bwash BRO IN ONE OF THE INTERVIEWS THE INTERVIEWER SAID TO JENNA "What do you think about this not being in Woodsboro like all of the other movies". And she clearly stated that she loves this franchise and really enjoyed filming it. I believed that all of the other ones were in Woodsboro too and the cast probably did too since they didnt even say that 3 or 2 take place somewhere else.

For the record, this is Gale’s SECOND phone call from Ghostface. She received her first phone call in Scream 2, in the park, she just wasn’t the one who picked up the cell phone, Randy did.
Then “technically” that’s not her call she took over the call .
Courtney actually said Gale 'die' and 'dying', 'out of the movie' a lot of times. That's such a tease lol
But she didn’t die so she gets a pass lol

Mason mentioning that Dewey could still be alive blows my mind, because didn’t the fight happen in the hospital? He’s right in the home of aid. And we only saw one body bag leave the hospital? And a police officer was murdered before the whole hospital scene..maybe it was the officer in the bag.

Incredible questioning and listening skills. This is a FANTASTIC interviewer who also knows her facts and information. Actors were so genuine and kind which is so interesting in the full spectrum of Scream!

Great questions! Definitely hard for interviewers these days as so many has been asked before. Plus we know actors can find these publicity days tiresome but they all looked really engaged.
Idk why I keep hearing Jenna say in multiple interviews that “Scream has never left Woodsboro”, when the murders in both Scream 2 and 3 have taken place in other places (2 in Ohio and 3 in Hollywood). We’ve now spent equal amount of movies away from Woodsboro as we have spent in Woodsboro.

Man i am so damn tired of hearing fans and even cast, like Jenna just did in this interview, say "Scream has never left Woodsboro" or "first Scream movie outside of Woodsboro"... 3 of the 6 Scream Movies are not in Woodsboro. Half of this entire franchise, takes place outside of Woodsboro. 2 is in a college outside of Woodsboro. 3 is in LA. 6 is in NYC

@@chrissygram honestly. I think they are all really good. I think 6 is the best. It was new and different. The change in locations was a major contributor I think. But 6 5 4 3 1 2. All good. But I think 2 was probably the worst.

I absolutely loved Scream 6, very different story and vibe, the locations were amazing and as a fan of the franchise the abandoned cinema was brilliant and so exciting to see all the elements from the other movies in one place, very cool.

Hayden is referring to the “Jekyll & Hyde Club” in NYC. a personal favorite of mine as well- but certainly a tourist trap. decent food and live entertainment. and the decor around the place “comes to life” as they are animatronics. i visit every time i’m in the city. so i would certainly die there too lol

I've had friends from all over the world with names in all different languages and whenever I hear people mispronounce their names or anglicize them, I get angry and correct them to say it properly.
