I’ve been supporting this band for more than three years now, and I have never seen Pau give less than 100%. She is one of those rare humans that is on full throttle if she is awake.
Full of energy...the energizer bunny goes out first against Pau.
Danny is too. Danny is the energy and passion of the band, Pau is the power and brains (she very technical with their set ups for tours and she writes most of the songs or at least starts them), and Ale is the glue that keeps it all together.
What I love most about The Warning, is they are always true to the song. While they ALL can shred a solo when ever, they only add a solo or drum fill that FITs the song. They never interup the flow of the song to show off!
Excellent observation. Like Ringo and George Harrison, simple drums and solos that fit the songs best. This band is hot.
TWB crafts songs, carving away what us extra or unneeded, to reveal the gems, the sculpture within. You just remember each one, becoming etched in Memory.
What I love about Pau is, she puts her complete heart and soul into her music. Weather it be playing drums, singing or writing music.
This raw version of Creep is the best I’ve heard. It hits the spot 👍

You also have to realize that she recorded this song raw from a cell phone without tricks, edition, or auto tune!

Pau is an amazing pianist, I could sit and watch her play for hours. For me, it's not so much the song, it's about the amount of power and passion she puts into it. Another song she does "Escape the Mind" from her Liceo performance is one of my favorites. I invite you to keep going, there's so much more to the Warning, all 3 are amazing singers/performers.
The Yes! at the end is because, this performance is from her asking the fans to vote for a song for her to cover and then she came back a couple of hours later, after learning a very basic version of it on the piano and singing it live on Instagram with just her phone, and this all on first take.
Yep. Pau and Danny are amazing with fans when they do their Instagram Lives. Ale is still a bit shy but starting to come into her own. They are amazing.
Pau and her sisters are all amazing young women. They are headlining a tour through the US and a few shows in Mexico in April and May.
Ive got VIP Meet and Greet tickets for Dallas next Sunday and can't wait. They are amazing.

I'm not a fan of those using their vocal gymnastics to give (what they think is) a better version of the original. Pau's take is real and from the heart, no fluff. Her elation at the end is awesome.
This may seem strange to you but I would say yes and no to your comment.
Yes, because it is true, generally those who have a "raw" singing tend to be more expressive, "emotionally speaking" BUT "raw" singing, without technique, has its risks, people can even put their voice at risk. .
And no one wants that!
as a teenager and "music nerd" I would bet Pau (and her sisters) has felt this to her core many times, because kids are cruel. It just comes out so raw and honest.
I've noticed that something both Dany but especially Pau do is open their mouths wide to belt out those big notes. And they both know their range... she can't go either as low or as high as Dany but her timbre is fuller and with that bit of rasp can be so compelling.
Writer. Drummer. Singer. Empath. Total professional her entire life. Amazing...

Its crazy to think that's the DRUMMER of the band, lmao... She's definitely got something special to her voice just due to the rawness and fullness of it. You have to imagine its due in part to her singing whilst drumming, which requires a LOT of breath control.
You should check out Dany's vocals as well, though, interested to see what you would think of her.

I don't know how many reactions you've already done to The Warning until now, but I hope to see more from you here :) Pau and Dany are two of three favourite singers of mine, making me emotional in just a second. Other one is Floor as you can guess :)
My absolute favourite part of this performance is Pau's choice on the final chorus to sing, "What the hell am I doing" loudly and then go soft and sensitive on the word "here." I feel like it took your breath away too because you gasped right afterward.

I get tears every time I watch this. Pau has awesome natural vocal fry... As much as I want you to keep reacting to The Warning - You have GOT to react to DISTURBED singing their cover of 'The Sound of Silence'. You think Pau's little vocal fry is harsh. You will LOVE the control David Draimen has with his voice (classically trained as a Cantor, but decided rock was more his style LOL) - Now go check it out!!

Pau did the challenge cause she sang more on their album Error and this was Pau's singing at one of her best at this point , also Pau is the one with the more emotional voice, great analisys , love it.
Side note: she does a lot of songwriting on this piano. I can’t tell if it is out of tune, but if it is it must drive her sister Ale nuts because she has perfect pitch.
you mention 'yelling in pitch' the you would be seriously impressed with gojira's pitch screaming, dude has the most nuts voice and he hasnt lost yet.
This is as honest a recording as can be made. Dimash himself could not match Pau on this song. It is good as the original and no female could do as good a job, not even my favorite Angelina Jordan.
I wish I could have heard that in person because some of the dynamics got twisted by the auto-gain of the phone. It's still this good even after the phone tried its hardest to screw it up.

She's an outstanding singer. But she is a world class drummer already and one of the best young songwriters of her generation. Singing is 3rd.
i think the vocal fry you hear is from fatigue , she learned and recorded this in about 4 hrs

By the way I don’t remember if you already have heard Pau singing Black Holes live? This is where you find a drummer singing in a piano with her siblings and not using her drums. It is also a very compelling song (specially if you know that a 13 year old Pau composed it and is regards of an addiction of somebody they know) it’s worthwhile to listen to, there are live versions you’ll love to see (hear) try it at your own leisure.

Charlie, I have a lot of respect for you! A lot of reaction channels react to this and want to criticize her, but you actually understand what is going on here. That it's not going to be perfect and that's okay. She's pushing herself and she's entertaining her fans. And she's clearly having an amazing time. Pau is just amazing and so is the rest of the band. Listen to Pau when she sings and plays the drums. Not many men can even do that. And not just back up vocals, lead vocals while playing the drums.
