I'm certain there is rampant incompetence in all facets of the government, but I'm not so naive to believe that this was a display of it. There is an obvious malicious dereliction of duty here by some key players. Idea being to get rid of him by intentionally failing to protect him and attribute that outcome to incompetence. And stay safe afterwards, since no one has been charged with treason for being incompetent.

Once at work, several miles from an upcoming presidential campaign rally, we ran into some operational issues. Attempted to fly my drone and received a notification that takeoff was “prohibited” due to an upcoming rally (several hours later) roughly 10 miles away. Ended up not being able to fly it at all.
Normally I don’t attribute Malice to something that can be explained by incompetence. However, in this case the level of incompetence required is implausible.

At 5:05, you suggest the shooter was unwise for Googling Oswald. However, generally speaking, this historical detail is still widely taught in public schools. If you were to survey most individuals, they would likely mention Oswald's name in connection with this event.
It was kind of a joke but yes Wikipedia and many Americans still maintain that Oswald was the lone gunman.

Barely anyone who spends some time researching the JFK assassination comes away believing the "lone gunman" and the "magic bullet" is remotely credible. And it's only gotten less credible as more evidence has leaked out over the years. And the CIA, etc. are still refusing to release documents 60 years later.

I've flown drones quite a bit. It's difficult to spot one a few hundred feet away when you dont know where and when to look.
