To be honest, most singers don't need autotune. But since that tech got invented, they just started signing up people who aren't good natural singers just based on their personality and general voice quality etc and use autotune to make things work. Plus I think since even good singers now know autotune exists, they practice less or something.

What I think is that even though Bryan Adams plays guitar from the beginning, the part until 1:58 shows that he doesn't really need musical instruments to make those words he says/sings come through. But you are right, the real goosebumps happen at 1:58.

It sounded amazing on the church organ and made the day a little more special. Thank you Bryan. Your music has got me through some really tough times and has also been part of the best. You deserve a lifetime achievement award just for being there when I needed and wanted you to be.

Brilliant performance of a truly beautiful love song. THIS is what a musical concert should look and sound like. No fluff. No huge circus going on in the back round. Simply the men/women and their instruments, both entertaining us and touching our emotions with their talent. This is by far, my favorite version of this song. Perfection.

Watched this first time on MTV back in 1997-98. I really don't know how many times I have watched the concert. Bryan Adam's unplugged was the best ever unplugged session in the history of MTV. It was a magic created and not just a show. I'll keep watching til i die.. cuz the show must go on...

I was 3 yrs of age when this came out. Thankfully my mother and father had great taste in music. I love all types of music. From heavy metal my big brothers influence, pop by anothers influence and punk by a big sisters influence. House music, RnB, blues, rap, hip hop my fathers influence and old time rock n roll and rock in general from my mother. As a teen from 1992 i already had a healthy love of ALL music. My fave songs on here go back before i was born with the Flamingos etc.

In 2005, this became "our song", for me and my ex. Elda Fernandez. as we were driving to Big Bear and it played on the radio and she picked it. It was a great choice. It will always hold a special place in my heart and so will she. It is better to have loved and lost, then to never have loved at all.
