A lot of music from the 80s has aged incredibly well, and this song is a standout example of that. When this concert took place, the song was already over a decade old, yet it still sounded flawless. Bryan's aged well, too- just look him up. I'm finding it hard to believe he's gonna be 65 this year.

You realize the fans singing was a prerecording. Right? In 2007, Bryan participated in a festival. The audio man played only the first line to an unsuspecting Bryan. The music took a pause. Festival goers started busting out laughing. Even Bryan paused to give perks to the audio man.

In June 1992, i was at my first Bryan Adams concert in Denmark. I was 12 years old. I noticed a small round scene in the middle of the audience. So i stod there with my mother. And sure enough Bryan and the band turned up there. I was in the front and he started to invite people on the stage to dance. He pointed at me to come up but i was just a kid and to scared to do it. I will always regret that. His music has now been a part of my life for more than 30 years. I am still and always will be a fan❤.

There are very few songs that can be carried by an audience like that, it's a massive testament to the song's unique brilliance and how it's so universally loved and relatable. The song is 1 of the best love songs ever written and the lyrics perfectly capture the essence of true love and 1st love. That's why the audience can carry it so well because so many in the audience can relate to the words and identify with it and that my friends is the ingredients of brilliant song.
That has got to be one of the best feelings for a musical artist to experience: having thousands upon thousands of fans and fans of your music singing your lyrics in unison. I don’t know about the rest of you, but if I was in Bryan’s shoes and hear them doing that I’d probably be so touched by the gesture that I’d burst into tears. This song was written about my life. I met the most beautiful and amazing woman 40 years ago at the lowest point of my life. I was broken. She introduced me to Jesus. That was a life changer. God has blessed us abundantly as He made her my wife!!!!!! We are now closer and deeper in love than ever. We so enjoy listening to the 70s & 80s music, especially this song, when we go out crusing in the exotic speed machine I recently bought, simply because I like her. She still looks hotter than the car, and I don't mind that kind of problem! On top of that, we have 7 adult children and our 5 grandchildren. I consider myself to be the most blessed man alive!!!!!

I don't think that's a fair assessment. Now I'm all for nostalgia being a 90's kid myself but technology has evolved and our phones allow us to capture moments and videos in time we find significant.I bet you if technology had been around during this time you would see phones recording artist all the time.
That's also a good point, but concert videos specifically are generally horrible as phones can't record the sound properly, and video is all shakey or pointless.
I actually got a tear in my eye to see his face when he went to start after hearing that great crowd sing his lyrics and then he asked the band members to turn it down so they could all listen. Priceless

Hey sorry for bothering you. I really like this girl from my gym class. Were friends and everything. We were talking and then she decides to get back with her ex boyfriend who cheated on her. I like her and idk what to do. Today I didn't really talk to her I was feeling down in gym class. She said whats up but I didn't want to tell her. Way back in 2000 or around there, he toured with Def Leppard. Went to see Def Leppard that night, but left thinking Bryan Adams was quite possibly the single greatest showman I had seen no joke. Incredible showman and really knows how to work the crowd.

You realize the fans singing was a prerecording. Right? In 2007, Bryan participated in a festival. The audio man played only the first line to an unsuspecting Bryan. The music took a pause. Festival goers started busting out laughing. Even Bryan paused to give perks to the audio man.

In June 1992, i was at my first Bryan Adams concert in Denmark. I was 12 years old.
I noticed a small round scene in the middle of the audience. So i stod there with my mother. And sure enough Bryan and the band turned up there. I was in the front and he started to invite people on the stage to dance. He pointed at me to come up but i was just a kid and to scared to do it. I will always regret that.
His music has now been a part of my life for more than 30 years.
I am still and always will be a fan❤.

There are very few songs that can be carried by an audience like that, it's a massive testament to the song's unique brilliance and how it's so universally loved and relatable. That has got to be one of the best feelings for a musical artist to experience: having thousands upon thousands of fans and fans of your music singing your lyrics in unison. I don’t know about the rest of you, but if I was in Bryan’s shoes and hear them doing that I’d probably be so touched by the gesture that I’d burst into tears. Look at 0:27 he’s completely stunned by what he’s just hearing. Ps: I’m a musician as well.

I don't think that's a fair assessment. Now I'm all for nostalgia being a 90's kid myself but technology has evolved and our phones allow us to capture moments and videos in time we find significant.I bet you if technology had been around during this time you would see phones recording artist all the time.
That's also a good point, but concert videos specifically are generally horrible as phones can't record the sound properly, and video is all shakey or pointless.
I'm just saying based on my preference :)

Way back in 2000 or around there, he toured with Def Leppard. Went to see Def Leppard that night, but left thinking Bryan Adams was quite possibly the single greatest showman I had seen no joke. Incredible showman and really knows how to work the crowd.

2022 and Bryan's song is still manages to bring a smile to my face
I know, I was 17 when he was preforming this. I wasn't allowed to listen to "secular" music then, had to sneak it. Just discovering this song now. When i was at my friend we would sing everything I do, thats the only song i knew by him. Love his music now.

It certainly was HAPPY TIMES AND SIMPLE TIMES!!!! We were kind and caring WE DIDNT HAVE TO HAVE SIGNS TO TELL US??? We just were! Wonderful! To see us now so so different!!! Kind of depressing to think that was ONLY 28 yrs ago???

That’s a thought that has hit me like a freight train in my early 30’s. It took having a son to realize just how short all of this is. I’ve start to look at the length of a decade as if it is only a year. Time is our greatest nemesis and it seems as though it is unbeatable
