Megahammer is a giant robot that fires homing projectiles at you and could probably crush you in a second, but its (normal) theme sounds like what you just said. Without the drums, it sounds so stupid, and I can’t listen to it without cracking up. :’)

No, it’s just observing what jr does, and doing exactly that. Basically, when jr moves, the MegaHammer will make the same movement.

This was mostly stated by someone else, but the version without Yoshi is supposed to make you feel like an awkward sitting duck, while the version with him actually sounds like a boss fight(i know that the only difference is that drums are added, but still)
