This is all about acquiring English. To repeat sentences so that you store them in your brain and can use them (flexibly) when speaking with others. This method helps you remember new words you learn AND how to use them correctly as part of a sentence. I recommend dedicating 10-15 minutes per day on this. Start slowly. Add 10 cards for the first few days and then, 1-3 cards per day. Remember, you're going to be repeating them 2, 4, 8, 16, 32 days from the first day. They all add up over time. When you see a flashcard, do one of three things: 1) Repeat it out loud 2) Read and listen 3) Write it down Here is more information on this method: www.tofluency.com/speaking/
I really suffered sereval years to learn English but I didn't find any a good way to improve my speaking ,, but when I find this chennel everything is chandged I've become more strong in English because I followed your rule's step by step I swear I 've took advantage more than I expected ,, I really proud of you ,, keep going on don't give up all of our will support you

This is a very effective method. I have been doing a similar thing all my life when learning English as a second language. My technique can now be streamlined better having listened to the podcast.
I really liked that this man speaks very clearly and slowly, CLEARLY AND SLOWLY!!, that way YES we can learn!! he should participate more in the videos!!, he should always intervene!! very, very good!!, he speaks clear and open and slow! , spectacular!
@@tofluency hi , want to renew my comment, I immigrated to Ireland, and have been living here for 8 months, I’m studying at college and use English on a daily basis, what I want to say is the progress that I got from Anki ( I’ve been using it 4 years now) helped me way too much than any other stuff. I just can’t help enjoying it. It’s fantastic that when you need to say something, the correct words and phrases just pop up in your brain and you express yourself. I take the sentences from Cambridge dictionary, videos, comments, wherever I see something I like. I voice them myself, checking the pronunciation on the internet. Sometimes I change it to make more memorable for me. Also I keep a diary in English and use there all the input I get. The thing that I find difficult now is simple expressions. Not that I struggle with them but i tend to use more complicated ways to say something simple and short. I don’t know why. I use other ways to say what I need but then I hear ways to say it shorter and I write it down immediately. So, I wish I could give you millions of likes. Thank you. By the way, it’s amazing to see how your channel has grown up. I love it 💛
At the first time, i do not understand you a lot, but i see several videos of To Fluency, and realy worked, know i understand you at 80 to 90 percent! That is amazing! Thank you for all!
Excellent method, it's just few months that I am trying this method and I was searching lessons for this method, so I found you. I will be one your best followers. Appreciate for all
Repetition is really important because the person can retain the meaning of the phrase in the brain. Also, repetition gives the opprotunity to the learner of improving the pronunciation. In addition, repetition technique promotes confidence in the person who is using this technique.
This is great way to learn English. You’re totally right, we only have limit time in learning English, we must make the English learning more effective. We should learn high frequently-used phrases. And then we repeat it again and again, finally we can internalize it naturally. Thanks so much~
hi! I think your method is wonderful and totally recommendable for learners of EFL.I'm from Argentina and I studied English a long time ago. I love the language as my grandfather was English, from the north - I wish you the best with your method.I'm positive it works because it is the way I unconsciously used to tackle the language! congratulations!
I'm really happy to find you. To be honest I used to watch lots of video via youtube related in learning Englihsh. But I was going to get bored to watch anymore. After find you My wishes about to continue learning english is again come to life. However there are tons of channel about learning english but you're the best channel I'm only following and I share your channel with my friends as much as I can in order to see you where you have to be.
Thanks a lot for your very useful videos, I am Moroccan and I live in the UK, I am trying to learn this beautiful language, I follow you from Leicester
Really good video Jack. Completely agree man, focused daily repetition is really important, and digital flashcards are a lot more efficient than writing your own. ✊✊✊
I'm really excited about watching this interesting video that talks about behaviourism as a natural and effecient method to go the next level. I think that is the important way ever when it's matter of learning a foreign languages and it is inspired from the process of children's learning that is based on listening and repeating in the correct way. I'm totally thankful, your video is really instructive and informative. You speak an English that is accessible to the mass. Thank you again.
I like your videos because they help me a lot. I never had in a english classroom but I understand a lot of english because of you and your videos. Thank you so much.
Congratulations! I'm brazilian and I must say this channel is awesome. I was wondering if maybe there is channel just like this, but for french learners. Thank you!
This is an excellent method indeed. All very effective. Shadowing is also great. Reconstructing the same sentences into different syntax orders is useful.
I think it is a helpful method, I'll try it. I have been focusing on grammar for all my life, and now I need to work hard on vocabulary, phrasal verbs and real conversation in order to improve my fluency. I don't feel confident when I speak English with native people, even if I can understand a lot. Thanks Jack
Same here. The way English was taught when I was young was awful. It was mainly based on grammar and listening comprehensions/ writing/reading. We spoke very little. That's why, I think, a lot of people in France can read English, they can understand oral English, but they have trouble speaking English. Hopefully, things have changed quite a lot - even though it's not perfect, not even close.
I don't know why but a can understand everything you say. I use Anki for 2 years end this method help me a lot to remember all sentences I learned. Thanks for your help teacher.

It's really great way for learning language, i think. I use it for learning Chinese and it's help me to memorize new characters and sentences. I extremelly love this method.
Thank you for mentioning good method actually I haven't done it before but now after watching video I think I should at least try it thank you again keep up the good work
I just know that I can understand you perfectly . But other American English speaker I haven't been able to understand them . It's only sometimes with those American English speaker. So I always I've been comfortable with you 😊
You are right, repetition is needed. I have realised that while listening audio books many good sounding sentences, which may be used in proper situations, just pass by. Probably it worth to try anki for getting over and over them. Unfortunately, my experience with anki was not so good, as it had been taking a lot of time for making cards, shuffling them, and do it regularly. Anyway, probably I'll try it again, but this time in small doses and in the most easiest way, like making cards only one-sided just with a chunk of text and a piece of audio.
I tried many methods and techniques to acquire fluency. But that was an utter failure. When i started watching this video and listening to your technique, my mind whispered "it's going to works". Thankyou dear!!
hello jack. although your accent is a little bit different to what I am trying to work on. but still. I like your voice and your accent. lovely. thank you for your sharing😬😁
