There is only one Kevin Costner, decades of being the great actor he is. NO One will fill his shoes, a sad ending for this show. Kevin Costner will take many fans with him, the cast of Yellowstone is great, and one can only hope for all of them they can make this fly.
Kevin pleeeze take the reins and write a finale for Yellowstone. You might have to do 1 or 3 episodes to season 5 part 2 but I know you can do it. Hopefully you don't have a non-compete cause in your yellowstone contract. Put that nail in Taylor's coffin once and for all.!!! Use your right and take him to court!~! You're fans are behind you.

How does this show expect to keep an audience until Nov. of '24? There are far too many entertainment channels out there for us to wait on one show, and too much in this troubled world to care about resumed storylines being a maybe. Taylor got way over his head with this franchise, and faces audience loss of interest.

I watched Yellowstone every single day. I’ve seen it 10 times I love the acting and most of all the scenery. I don’t know what it is. I start watching another channel and I always go back to Yellowstone. I love it please don’t end it.

dezford5408 - I’ve read on other Internet Entertainment sites that it was Paramount’s decision to split Season 5. That’s one of the MAJOR issues that Costner had with the filming schedule, because he already had plans to start filming “Horizon” and would be almost impossible to come back and film Season 5-Pt. 2.

Very happy about the new episodes of Yellowstone. Amazing cast as. But with Matthew joining the cast can only add more talent in the mix. I have not enjoyed such a captivating series due to the cast. Love the show.
I think Yellowstone could have gone another 2 or 3 seasons if they had handled it right. My opinion of the spinoffs, 1883 was pretty good but the others just didn't do it for me. Why there hasn't been a Sicario 3 is puzzling to me too. I think Sheridan is a great writer but maybe cares more what he wants than what the fans want.

Costner had family problems and wanted more time at home. He and his wife are getting divorced and he has three young kids that he has to focus on now.
I’m very disappointed I’m afraid yellow stone will not be the same without Kevin Costner he made yellow stone. My son introduced me to yellow stone & I’ve watched every episode & when there’s nought to watch on tv I go back to yellow stone it’s a great story line

Thanks so much for the info. I was in rehab after a life threatening illness when Yellowstone started and after some research I really want to watch the whole series. Just hope I can afford it . I’m in a wheelchair now and on disability. Taking about 12 meds and the disability doesn’t go very far. lol But thank you for the info. Diane

Kevin does care about his fans. That is why he is coming out with a western for the big screen that will be so much better than Taylor could ever produce! Taylor is such a child! I see Oscar and Golden glove in the future for Kevin and his new production. Can't wait to see it!!!
Getting tired of the same old thing, not telling us anything about what the caption was suppose to be. Taylor needs to finish Yellowstone before anything else, like he should've done in the first place. Then we might still have seasons 6 and 7 of Yellowstone. It's sad that one person can miss up the whole story, as far as I'm concerned Taylor is to blame. 1923 was a great big disappointment after 1883. Hope Taylor has a lot of luck with the future series, I'm going to ask around before I spend anymore money and time on Taylor's shows.
Been waiting to see the nineteen twenty three follow up from where they left off and nothing , waiting to see what happens with Helen Mirren and Harrison Ford and Cassandra being pregnant etc, some good story lines but the show is all over the place, never seen so much half fast material anyone else would be fired from their employment if they left three of their jobs half finished over and over again.
Probably will not watch another Taylor Sheridan series again. It’s disrespectful what has been done to the audience of Yellowstone.

Costner doesn't make yellowstone the great show it is, he's just a part and the series could go on for a long time given the right storyline and additions.
Costner wants to continue Yellowstone as much as John Dutton wants to be Governor.

I've already given up on watching anymore of Yellowstone, as I can't even hardly remember what all went on. But if they're adding Matthew McCaunahy(sp?)(see? Shows just how unimpressed with him I am) I'm definitely not going to be watching. Besides, there's lots of other stuff to watch.
I have sold my collection of Yellowstone and could care less what happens. I refuse to watch anything Taylor Sheridan puts out anymore. He is one that gets bored with one thing and starts another.

Also tired of this flipping around between paramount & paramount+ - if im paying for one that shud be enough to see all- cancelling the excess- yellowstone is main reason i kept paramount for as long as i have- waiting until 2024 - i can wait until it eventually shows up elsewhere most likely- its been to long of a wait already - the waiting has been tedious thus far - but now its just ridiculous- imo. I think the story of yellowstone & The Duttons could easily😂 be carried on by the characters already in place & just get a replacement to play john - would miss KC but geez its past time to get on with things!! I enjoyed Yellowstone. I was very disappointed in the interruption to completion of Season 5. Although Costner added a lot to the show, I believe it would survive just fine if he does not return. There are a lot of good actors/actresses in this series.

I’m not excited at all. Costner was already getting paid over a million per episode. Costner. wanted out to shoot more westerns. It’s sad. Costner had such a great series going.
I don't fault Kevin for wanting to move on. He was probably just sick of Taylor and his incompetency and his inability to focus and finish a project. Everyone should just wait and be wowed by Kevin's new western!!! At least he has dates for completion.
