Egos……..the whole dynasty started with the genius & talent of Costner & Sheridan. Yellowstone is an epic & needs both to finish big. Get a grip make peace & finish what you started for all including-wait for it-the FANS. Don’t disappoint those who made you both. Get this done & then go on your way to other projects.
I agree, FINISH WHAT YOU STARTED! Costner and Sheradan need to finish Season 5 for the fan base. It's spoiled kids fighting, like little toddlers that have too many toys. Grow up. You made alot of money off our support of YOU, now you don't care. Especially Costner. He is a great actor, but also a spoiled wealthy guy who is holding his middle finger up to all his fans who got him that way.

He has his thumb in too many pies with not enough to go around and as a result his one major show is suffering for it. Without Kevin who gives a shit about the rest especially Beth and Rip. Sheridan fucked up as for the spinoffs again who cares.
Before the show kicks off, it could be rewritten. First off as season 5 ended you had an appointed AG, Jamie Dutton attempting to dethrone an ELECTED Governor, John Dutton. Jamie was never elected to that position. John could actually fire Jamie as he sits in his bed with his mistress in the middle of the night. The Governor, John should have the press parked outside his Governor's Mansion 24 hours a day.
When the Governor arrives at Jamie's home with the press swarming, John could publicly fire Jamie while the press record and report the news as it happens. The actions of Jamie in the Legislature was a vain action brought on by an officer who must report directly to the Governor. Jamie had no authority to make a presentation on the legislative floor unless he was directly invited by the Speaker of the House. Jamie was just a retained AG under John as Governor.
The US Senator knows the Governor's duties and so should Clara, as she must also be an attorney to handle the Governor's itineraries daily. In the van on the way back to the Governor's Mansion, she brought up legal issues for Jamie's Legislature actions.
There are way too many inconsistencies with the way government works, especially in Montana, and Taylor Sheridan has not been advised in his writings along those lines in a correct manner. Taylor needs to rewrite the ending of the season to effectively coordinate the actions of elected officials with the needs of his constituents. The pipeline under the Reservation reservoir can be rerouted by executive order of the Governor, as the Corp of Engineers is legally a corporation with no title to land without Legislative law to back it, and that could go back and forth in the Legislature for years, or the CoE decides to forego the route and reroute the pipeline, like the US Senator said, through North Dakota.
The Yellowstone Ranch can be fully preserved and the Governor can reject economic growth by not allowing builds too close to State Reserve land, such as the airport and the development of Park City. The Governor must sign off on that to give permission, but to preserve the State land, he must veto it and add another executive order restricting the build. The Governor can give out executive orders all day long on already legislated laws, and the State land is already legislatively protected.
You see, unless Taylor Sheridan has these already written into the script, then it seems Taylor is not well informed on law, especially in Montana, and should correct his works in accordance.
As far as the Train Station, I am sure there may be more than one Train Station depot with skeletons laying in its canyons too. That was an actual way of life in the Wild West and nobody questioned it. This late in life, I think it is a little bit too late to rewrite History !
This show keeps me on the edge of my seat. Me and my husband loved it and it goes too fast when you're watching it❤❤❤. We want more Yellowstone. It's an addiction. We can't get enough of it.

Kevin already said in his court appearance ( divorce court) said he was finished with all things Yellowstone. So, I don’t expect to see him back. I’m sure it will show that John Dutton will be killed off by Jamie and his Gal pal..sorry guys it’s over without John..

I’ll watch when or if it is ever released. But I will not watch any new series that Sheridan creates. Yellowstone, 1923 and Tulsa King are all I’ll watch. 10 episodes every 2-3 years is crazy.
Pray Costner & Sheridan make a deal. M sure negotiable. They owe it to the loyal dedicated fans to give us proper closure. Pls don’t disappoint us. Don’t replace Costner w McC & spoil the finale ok? 🙏🏻
Why do we have to hear the same old thing all the time. We know Taylor hadn't written the last part of season 5 because he was too busy with other projects. Finish one than go to another, too many eggs in a basket. Taylor is the reason Yellowstone won't get a season 6, not Kevin's. I will watch anything with Kevin in it but not Taylor's anymore.

Filming was not delayed because of arguments between Sheridan and Kostner it was due to the writers strike as well as the actor strike if you're going to tell a story tell it right

The writings been good? My friend they ended the show with John, Kaycee, Beth, Monica and the Jesse all in life threatening situations and guess what? ALL OF THEM LIVED! lol. Furthermore Beth's character was set up to be an all time great role and hasn't evolved one iota.

Think all thats happening was planned. Grand plan indeed. The strike played into their hands and it is working as fans want more. So dropping rumors creates a free build up of want. Yeah the writing is amazing. I loved how all the main characters finished a season in life threatening situations and lived. Also love how Jamie and Beth have evolved into absolutely nothing at all my favorite.

There are too many inconsistencies in the show. An appointed AG, Jamie Dutton going behind the back of his boss, the Governor John Dutton? In the last scene, where is the press outside the Governor's Mansion? They never go home especially with the actions of the earlier part of the day. The Governor could go right over to Jamie's home and fire him in the middle of the night, while he is in bed with his live-in mistress, and the press would be all over it. The US Senator knew this, and Clara must be an attorney to know the legal ins and outs of the Governor's itinery. She even questioned Jamie's actions and having no merit, in the van, on the way back to the Governor's Mansion, after his speech at the Reservation.
Park City and the airport ! Isn't that a little too close to allow an airport to be built in proximity to State reserved land? The Governor has the ability of handing out executive orders on already legislated laws, all day long, as often as it is needed. The AG has no authority to undo those orders either. Isn't State land legislatively protected by the State? Another executive order could be handed out on the pipeline under the Reservation reservoir to reroute it through North Dakota.

Costner could have a heart attack and leave the show, with Beth, Casey and the nephews inheriting the ranch. Beth will have to get Casey on board along with Rip to keep the Ranch intact. Jamie is gonna have to be dealt with and removed from office, the very first thing. Who is the Lt. Governor to take over after John's demise, and does he or she have the interests of the landholders and the Native Americans, at the top of the list. Maybe that is where Mathew McConahey may come in to be the defender of Montana land, and maybe a long lost relative.
All in all the last 6 episodes could get very intense, but Taylor Sheridan needs to get more up to date with modern Montana laws and customs. These episodes need to focus around the Sovereign people of Montana than the undermining of foreign (out of State non-residents and non-voters) investors who ravage the virgin lands of those who actually own it and can control it, unlike the uncontrolled States of California and NY.
Montana and it's portrayal of its Sovereignty could be a formidable model of independence for the other States of the Union, in all reality. That would keep the ideology of the Wild, Wild West in the minds of everyone who believes in this country we all love.
The controversy of the foreign (California) bikers and off color militia could be portrayed as equivalent to the illegals pouring into our country by the droves. How does Montana deal with that issue to this day, and can it be incorporated into the series? Seems as if some of that may have been hinted at with Casey in combat gear protecting the Yellowstone. Guns are a needed mainstay in Montana, although few others realize it.
