Kayce is my favorite character in Yellowstone, he's always battling between doing the right thing and doing what his family's telling him to do, a struggle that reminds of Michael Corleone in the godfather.
When Yellowstone first started it reminded me of The Godfather- John Dutton is Vito Corleone, KC is Michael, Jaime is the lawyer consigliere like Tom Hagen, Rip is like Sonny. I wish they had stayed with that theme instead of venturing off into a cowboy soap opera.
Love how Yellowstone slowly peels back the layers on the main characters revealing how they became so damaged and yet so strong. Fantastic writing and superb acting.
My dad was a pastor in Ashland, Ohio. Luke and I are the same age. We always ran into each other at church camp and Open Bible conventions. It's so cool seeing him on the big screen.

My dad use to have a horse in Mexico when he was younger, he told me he got black out drunk twice and he fell asleep on the horse and woke up in front of his house both times lol horses are super smart animals
I hear that's what horses do. In Poland we have no cowboys but in the olden days that is precisely how drunk farmers got back home. The only thing they had to do was not to fall off the horse ;)

Oh my, when I first saw that show advertised, I said that I was going to watch it. Anything Kevin Costner does is incredible. But, for some reason, never did watch it, until this past weekend. That show is off the hook. I got to binge watch Yellowstone this past weekend. Off the charts. I did watch season 5 premiere and it was good. I thought the scene with the young man who plays Carter has grown so much. I liked it when Kevin saw him, he looked at him and said don't grow a beard. Too cute, and funny. Carter grew up so fast. Anyway, will continue to follow that show. I literally fell in love with the show. Much success to Yellowstone and the cast!!❤👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

He totally side stepped the question about how we feel about Californians. It’s because the bitterroot valley is extremely conservative and people move here to raise families where it is safe. Very low crime. Californians are always moving here because they say California is so bad. And then they try to run things like it is in California. Completely forgetting why they left in the first place.

Not to mention the grossly inflated prices of real estate and rental rates that we've suffered in large part due to the influence of the Yellowstone project here in the Bitterroot Valley. The growth of living costs has fast outpaced wages here. Yellowstone is not the only factor, but it is a significant one. Can't wait for the project to leave Montana.
Met Kevin Costner on a senior trip to San Francisco. My teacher also lost it lol. She became a teenage girl in an instant. He was so nice considering this crazed woman and teenage girls surrounded him.

My parents have been working on me for months trying to get me to watch this show but I never really saw why, I’m not the biggest western fan. I started watching a couple days ago and safe to say I’m obsessed now!
I've been to Darby (where the show is filmed ) several times. I met kevin in the bar Luke is talking about. I also met Luke in the sand which shop right down the road from the set. Darby hates that they bring so many out of towners, but love the $$ they bring in.

Just think you get the best people of California next door to you. They are well off, better educated, do not depend on state aid, they can afford living well and contribute to your economy by paying taxes, and most of all they are thankful you welcome them.

We like visitors in Montana we just don’t like when rich people keep buying up homes to the point where the people who actually work and live here can’t afford even a apartment anymore and families are now living in there cars who can afford almost two thousand a month for a one bedroom apartment? And we can’t stand the TOURONS (tourists/morons) that hassle the wildlife and just act rude and entitled.
