    Btw, USSR had its own rocket science program. Sergey Korolyov was developing rockets already before the war. And the father of rocket science, Konstantin Eduardovich Ciolkovski, was a Russian himself. Yes, they took advantage of the Germans' achievments. But it was nothing compared to what the Americans gained from the Third Reich's rocket program. Before the soviets reached the rocket lab in Peenemünde, even the British had stolen everything that the Americans left there. In spite of the fact that this was the soviet occupation zone. Neverthheless, the first man in space was Yuri Alexeevich Gagarin. Not American, not British, but Russian.

    Great session Sir. Thanks a lot.
    Btw India has been asking for a permanent seat in UNSC for a long time now. In 2008 India made a group (G4) with Germany, South Korea and Brazil; they all want a permanent seat, obviously India is most likely to get it rather than them.
    China says India should sign the treaty which says we can't keep any nuclear weapons then they'll allow us. UK says they'll give the permanent seat but won't give the veto power.
    But there are a number of reasons India will get it. India helps with free medicines to Africa, provides peace keeping army and what not. If we get the permanent seat at least, we'll get the Veto power someday soon.
    UN is a weird organization, favours whoever throws money at them.
    Let's just hope for the best.

    The most important lesson I learnt from Abhijit Sir is something which might seem very obvious.
    When you look at the issues - list down the hard facts that are available at hand. And then try to make the opinion. We have to make a clear distinction between what evidence is available vs what are the conspiracy theories/claims.
    As a tech researcher, this is the procedure we follow while doing any scientific investigation. However, now I have learnt to apply this procedure to social, political and historical issues. Thank you Guru Abhijit!

    #AskAbhijit Why Japan didn't help Germany in the operation Barbarossa?? When Germany was attacking USSR from the west, Japan could have attacked it from the South-East and Siberia region and it would have become challenging for USSR to win the war. In this way Axis powers could have won WW2 but instead of this amazing plan, Japan was busy invading Manchuria and at last invaded USA.. What would be the consequences if Japan and Germany both have attacked USSR from East and West respectively??

    #AskAbhijit Namaskaram, I wanted your thoughts on the impact of Bhakti Movement on the Hindu Psyche, Bhakti movement started in the 8th century CE quite poetically when one of the biggest threats to the Indian sovereignty was coming from the north west which was essentially driven by a sort of "bhakti" or fanatic devotion to the almighty Allah. IMO Bhakti movement led to muzhubification of the Hindu Dharma and then there is Islamic/Christian colonizations as well. What do you think would have happened if India stuck to it's Vedic roots like in the mahajanpad eras and focused more on the "cultural" aspect of the Hindu Dharma than the "religious" expects like the bhakti movement? Would the the Hindu culture have survived better than it is now? As a staunch agonistic I admire ancient Indian philosophies like Carvaka, Nastik etc..Thank you! Mush respect to your work and efforts in driving the Indian narrative.

    Mr. Abhijit Chavda, I like your channel. I watch it on regular basis. I am a citizen of the Czech Republic, EU. So, maybe it may seem arogant for me lecturing you. But anyway, I feel a need to speak my mind. Who is the natural aly of Europe? Of course Russia. Who wants this potential to never materialize? USA. The results are visible. Now, who is the natural aly of India? Obviously China. The cultural ties between India and Japan are the same as those between India and China. Except the latter ones are much older and richer. If the communism somehow broke the continuity of the Chinese cultural and spiritual tradition, than what did the colonisation and the western style capitalism to India. Is it more conducive with the Indian civilisation, than communism with the Chinese civilisation? I don't think so. There is no real reason for India and China to not cooperate except for the same reason that prevented the cooperation between Russia and U.S. European colonies: Our overlords don't want it. As far as the border disputes are concerned: Arunachal Pradesh historicaly belongs to Tibet. Tibet was never actualy free since the Xing dynasty took the power. The rule of Dalai Lamas was established in quite violent and non-budhist manner by invading force of Oyrat Mongols in 1642, if I am not mistaking. Shortly after the Manchus annexed Tibet to China. After the establishment of the Chinese republic in 1911 Tibet was not free at all, because the British occupation forces remained there until 1949. So, how and why did a part of Tibet, i.e. Arunachal Pradesh, become a part of India? Maybe the British would know the answer. My point is: Whenever you speak about China, your lenses begin to deform. You call it patriotism. I would call it the unintentional promoting of the imperialist agenda of the enemies of India.

    What are your views on increasing the Research fellowships in India? It’s peanuts compared to the hard work that a graduate student (or any researcher) usually put in. Also the course is really long e.g., BSc>MSc>PhD. If reforms in education is happening then policy maker need to introduce short transitioning course as well because by the time Indian graduate student is done with his/her studies, he/she is exhaust and hence goes negative on his/her creativity and enthusiasm.

      @deeptidabral7407 2 года назад

      For example, in my lab (abroad), my supervisor hand picked few students to make them transition from BSc (research course) to doctorate straightaway. This means they were done with PhD in 5 years (compared to Indian student who usually take 8-9 years post 12th class). Of course, they will be more enthusiastic but only drawback such student have is experience (or bookish knowledge).

      Plus CSIR,DST and DBT is notorious in not releasing student’s fellowship on time. I was unpaid for 6 months but I kept continuing my work during that time….ask any research student in India, they’ll likely have same story to tell…..and then whoever can make it to secure a seat abroad goes away……and then people talk about brain drain…..😏🙄anyways….hoping that authority in India is noticing it and will soon do something about it…🤞🙏

    Dear Abhijit Sir,
    In a recent video, David Miano(yt channel: World of Antiquity), took a jibe at your Aryan Invasion Theory/Aryan Migration theory video. Since you mostly covered genetic proof in the video, he also used genetic data to prove that there was an Indo-Aryan Migration from the Steppes to India. Can you please reply to the arguments made by Mr. Miano or make a video about it? That would help a lot sir. Thanks #AskAbhijit
