Really starting to absorb the idea that this is hard work and it takes time. I spend lots more time thinking and learning about business running’s than detailing.
If there is 10 things I need to do I find cleaning the car is the 9th I’ve got to do.
These videos are both encouraging and educational to people like me with some tools and a dream, trying to make this business thing work. Thanks, Yvan and Paddy.

I'm not a detailer, just like your channel and detailing. Paddy is brilliant, great interview!

Fantastic interview! especially interesting to me, I have been running my detailing business in Scotland for the past 13 years, however have for a long time now been considering relocating to Austin Texas, very close to making the jump this year so I will need to make contact with Patrick for some advice!

Great content Yvan. Question...please refresh my memory...what's the best way to prep plastics for something like an application of trim restore chemicals such as cerakote, solutions finish, etc? In a recent video, I recall you saying something about not using alcohol, prep solv, or strong stuff meant for painters?? what would be best to prep plastic black trim for restoration products or coatings? Is an apc enough to strip off all waxes and grease? Use the custom paint prep mix you've spoke of with old style windex? Gyeon prep? thank you...maybe a short video on plastic restoration (unless I've missed it). James

No best way, but all of the ones you stated work. If it’s severely oxidized, I like to use a trim safe polish first.

@@Detailers-Business-Academy OK, Thank you! What was it you said about items that don't belong in a detail shop? I think it was the recent video with Nick? You talked about items/solvents that only belong in a paint shop? I thought you mentioned PrepAll, or something similar? My mind is nudging me constantly to remember that tidbit of info?

2nd. Thanks for more incredible and free information, Yvan. His link is incorrect in the video description, FYI. Veteran is misspelled.
