Those are some slick square tubing corners. One improvement you could make is instead of shrink tubing use rubber automotive fuel line on tool handles, it's thicker and makes more padding so you can turn something with more force without hurting your hand. Works well on ratchets and drill chucks

The potato trick is something I do with Post Hole diggers, also works with bulbs and other veggies of course. No need to make a new tool for those without a workshop.
so videos like this are cool in all, but the average person doesn't have thousands of dollars of handheld and standing power tools like welders, grinders, belt sanders. heck most of us don't even have a house.
Dude, the time they spend on making these useless tools, worth much more than the tools themselves. Most of the tools they make, can be purchased for around 5 usd... There are some unique tools here, mostly the gardening tools, but overall, waste of time
I seriously doubt some of them would hold up to hard ground with rocks etc in it. If you notice everything he dug up and did was premium dirt that was soft
I’m thinking to myself how long it would take to find, buy materials, and build all these tools. Then realized I can just go buy the tools for a few bucks. That dirt spreader for planning potatoes. 😂
Well, seeing that I am not welder equipped, and the up to half inch of topsoil over rocks here in NW Arkansas makes using a tool like this impossible, I congratulate you anyway on a great idea.
@@ExcrementalDisplay To a point, yes, but the government has been using hundreds of gallons of this stuff to restore land and prevent further damage in abandoned mines, cave-ins, and sinkholes.

Excelentes ideas..Pero no incluyo la lista de materiales y herramientas que uso..junto con su modelo y marca. Estos tutoriales para aprender los ven la mayoria al igual que yo que no tienen su experiencia. Muchas Gracias.
A better title would be, "welding in the 21st century when you have too much time on your hands and can waste it making pointless doodads that you can buy for peanuts anyway". Feel free to use it.
It almost seemed like every "doodad" he made had a very pointed, video documented, intended use. It is also odd to worry about how another person uses their time, skills, imagination, effort, tools, and materials. What is even more odd is to think that anyone would take suggestions not given as constructive criticism, but off-putting, arrogant, purely mean hearted pure criticism. This seems to be what someone who has too much time on their hands and can waste it on making pointless "suggestions" that no rational person would consider taking would waste their time on. Consider living your own life and letting others live theirs, and realize that your assessment is exactly that; yours. Which serves no meaningful purpose and is thus, a waste of time. Nothing is this world, save for actual universal human necessities, fall into the category of "for everyone". I would have given you more credibility if you had stated solely, "I would just go buy any of these", which would acceptably convey that you didn't see the value in the video without being condescendingly above such efforts. Normally I would not participate in posting my thoughts, but your post made me pity you by giving the impression that your life is not fulfilling. If it was you would have better things to do than this.
Try to using a hole drill like that to run a fence through a wooded area. First, get a good grip on the drill motor. Second, be prepared to buy a new one afterwards. There's a reason they make PTO driven units for tractors and two-handled manual ones for humans. Then, there's the in between power units with the gasoline engine on top for idiots. One of those got hung up on a root or something and ripped my aunt's hand almost completely off her arm. (Don't tell her I said they were for idiots. 😂🤣😳😬😕) There's also a reason hammer handles are made of wood. It's lighter than steel. If you don't believe that, try using a car axle for a sledge hammer for a while. I've been there and done that when I was a teenager. Any solid steel handle is not good for your wrists in tools you have to swing. They may not break as often, but why wear out your body parts that you can't afford to replace in exchange for the the cost of a good wooden handle? Chances are good that you could buy one for less than it cost to make this steel one, anyway. DUH!!🤭🤭😂😂🤣
@@deez3371 regardless, the contact surface area is tiny. The wood surface strength means the lateral forces would just life the top layer of the timber even if the glue held.
@@lafleurstudios let me elaborate. If you tried to use epoxy to glue the steel to dirt, you know instinctively that wouldn't work. Why? Because the dirt doesn't have the strength to hold together when you move the steel. While wood is bound together better than the dirt, it's still the weak link. Put sideways (lateral) pressure on the steel here and the wood is the weak link. The glue and steel might not break, but the wood would break way. That's why it needs to be recessed inside the timber. Now, sit down and let the adults talk.

That DIY hammer tho. It's probably easier and cheaper to buy one than to make one by bending metal and stuff. 😅

The tittle is OFF but the ideas are cool. I will build the auger when I find an old bycicle.
There is no way that bit of glue would hold that steel to the wood, especially with lateral forces. You'd have to recess it deep inside the wood.
its like a two part epoxy, it's some strong stuff
