Think permaculture/ _restoration_ ag is more sensible than building a bunch of expensive plastic components and using purchased inputs to grow plants when a durable, cheaper garden modeled after how nature does it with much simpler mods, more resiliency and a lot less expense is available.
Well, I made such vertical gardening tubes 40 years ago. Still have some in my backyard. Hard to get the roots and the soil out of them after the plants are gone.
I own a full system of stuff to grow fish in 2 large 275 gallon tanks & to pump their waste water across lots of plastic barrels cut into halfs, I also have the 6 in pvc to make these vertical gardens. THe waste from the fish is nutrient laden & you feed all your plants in this process & the water is returned clean to the fish. Tilapia is a frequently chosen fish to grow but I guess you could use any type of fish. Thanks for showing this, it gave me some other ideas about what I own & what more I might add - it is kool !
As a landscaper of 25 years these are mostly all great ideas. First one not as good. Edible plants require soil for uptake of nutrients in order to provide humans with proper nutrition.
Is there any concern about using PVC for this purpose, especially since the plants will eventually be consumed? Does the plastic pose any risk in terms of leaching chemicals into the water or plants?
It isn't patented because that would be a total waste of money. It takes $20 million in annual sales to cover the legal maintenance to begin to profit from a patent.

Tolle Ideen, nur wenige sind nicht unbedingt notwendig.
Kreativität hat keine Grenzen👍

Lincoln
I have a lincoln 210MP. Solid machine, and I'm a journeyman welder. Just make sure whatever you buy is supported for consumables and parts.
So cool! Thanks for sharing.

Is it possible without needing a pump?
Do you think PVC plastic is unhealthy? *spraying plastic with even more toxic color* "I can't here you while spraying?!"
Great video
Hydro growers be like “ bro hold my joint”

Why use a saw to make a rake?

Yes.
Most household plumbing is PVC. Most greenhouse and hydroponic gardens are plumbed with PVC... I could go on.
@@galelongputt Probably why cancer rates are skyrocketing.
You can buy food safe pvc piping... Now if it were a lead pipe then definitely yes!! - that would pose a serious health risk
A lot of drinking water pipes are pvc
Vertical we do for many years.

DIY videos like this show why people buy ready-made stuff from hardware stores.

Zeleninka bude výborná a plná toxínov z plastu 😊
you're not supposed to go "why is this not patented?" and just patent it already, this is why so many peoples ideas get stolen by corpo's.
because somebody already patented plants
Why patent it? Let it be for public use.
because everybody does it....................................... it's not patentable
A pá com serrote foi triste,
Plastics and chemicals 🤦🏻♂️
