A little tip: you can cut a hole in a block of wood to create a guide for the hole saw when you don't have a pilot bit. Since you have a drill press you should have used the drill press. Free handing the holes causes the hole saw to want to jump around when not using a guide bit.
One important question, glass cube, is it made with lead? Lead is added for plasticity of glass, and strength as well...being construction element my guess is that myst have some lead, if so it can not be used to store anything for consumption
Myst? Do you mean 'must'? I don't trust advice from someone that doesn't understand how to use spell check. 😂 I don't trust this guy in the video Either. I'd feel safer with a bear.
Brilliant idea, a little scary on drinking glass bits..a filter on the inside of the dispenser tap would be a little safer. ❤thanks for sharing your idea
Alcohol is cancerous, so I wouldn't stress about the risk of glass (which is about as food safe as anything gets). If you care that much about your health, you wouldn't be drinking spirits.
I wonder whether the glass is really glass and not a plastic compound, similar to most wine bottles. I'd still want to be sure no residue of cutting was left inside of planning to drink from it though.
beautiful... but not practical... washing it will leave damage to the wood... there are better and more practical drink dispensers... bought or made... you used many hours of work and experience for something without practicality. use it for another purpose and you will have applause
Congratulations? I'm not sure why that matters. You can make perfect round holes in glass with a knife? Which probably takes longer and uses a lot of muscle and energy. Work smarter, not harder. Using a saw you get a much better result and it's much faster. But keep bragging that you can poke a hole in glass with a knife. 😂 The elderly love to brag about, literally, nothing.

The cork trick was neat.

Тем более ( алкоголя ) .
Colored glass often has lead, cobalt, or other harmful chemicals that would leach into drinks/foods.

@montialarson for you guys in 4th grade, yes, that was typo...
@@montialarson Nice one... ;)
Woww great to see man Great idea 😊 👍😇💥 God bless you from india 🇮🇳 🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🙏🙏🙏
Looks nice but i don't think the glass block is suitable for drinks though. I saw someone made it into a soap dispenser. I think that will be better.
Beautiful work.
Pretty nice work, dude! It looks great! 😃
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
Great Job - Japanese pull saw! Yeah
That was awesome! 👍🏻🇺🇸

drink the glass, you'll be fine.
Beautiful, but is it food-safe for alcohol?

How about lemonade? Mr sassy pants.
I’d be more concerned with how to clean it out without completely disassembling it.
Definitely not food safe
How do you clean the inside of the container from the thousands of tiny glass shards from the drilling?
my guess would be to wash it out after drilling, obviously they never showed all the steps (drilling dowel for wire).
Water??? Duh
Water flush
The glass facilitates bowel movements, don't worry.
Easily. Flash with demineralised water And dry it out with a hairdryer with a dust filter over its intake.
What GR8 idea...
? Have you tried putting any Spirits;... Vodka;... Brandy & my tipple Whiskey...
Nice
Very nice job

Parabéns 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
You cant be serious the mortar is not ment to drink
Круто. А как помыть?
Veritasium had a great video about the myth of being a "visual learner"
How did you drill the wire hole in the dowel?
Drill bigger hole and put clear food grade plastic bag inside.

Is this reupload. I have seen this video for atleast 1-2years now
If you had a drill press, why not just use it for the glass?
Ha ha 😂 super idée et tu aurais pu faire tout un bar avec 9 réservoir pour le whisky le gin la vodka les rhums etc 🎉
what is the Music name in here 1:53 ?
Why not just pour the wine out of the bottle instead and dont waste a lot of money and your time ?
The juxtaposition between meticulous craftsmanship and execution, with the unbelievably cheesy and cringe end result has me scratching my head.
It's definitely not good for vines.
Dont use it, problem solved!
🥰❣️🥰❣️🥰❣️😍😍👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Age 67. Can make holes in glass with a pocket knife.
