Sadly, that dealer listed on the tag is out of business but there is another Kubota dealer about 5-6 miles to the west located just off Rt. 16 on Cherry Valley Rd. In Newark OH. I live about 9 miles north of there. Looks like a great tractor.
Iirc, in '80 or 81 Kubota went to the stye of throttle that increases rpm pushing forward. I think prior to that time, the throttles operated like yours, pulling to the rear to increase engine speed. They are incredible litte work horses !
just a tip with the broken off key, get another key and cut off of it wats equal to what is stuck in the barrel, so basicly u have a very short key and it works same princicpal with the screwdriver, but you can tie the key with wire or string close to the barrel and it works just like a normal key.
I have the same model.. Just passing it along when you shift gears, always stop.. Dont shift up or down while you are moving.. Same thing for putting in 4wd.. It can/will damage the trans.. Take care of it though and that baby will last you till the end of time.. Ours is a 1978..
I have two of these Kubota B7100s. These lil tractors are built like a small tank.

I start my b6100 the same way with a universal key lol.
Great vid. I'm thinking about picking up a used B7100 with 1500hrs. Any complaints or things you'd check before the purchase?
Are you trying to sell this Kubota? My dad was asking if so how much??
Just curious if you still use this tractor??
i do
