RimWorld - The Dirtmole Run | 500% No Pause P2

- RimWorld played on the hardest difficulty, without pause, against Randy Random, with a theme involving around the Dirtmole Xenotype from Biotech.
This is meant to be a 'FOR FUN' series in which I play a themed run with each of the Xenotypes. In these runs I am only allowed to have colonists of that specific Xenotype. In this case, we're going with Dirtmoles.
We are using a mod for a custom map (Ravine) as well as one addition Ideology to allow us to worship and utilize bugs. Check further below for more info

RULES
Lean into the Xenotypes genes. Use melee and inaccurate weapons. Finish the game by completing the Anomaly ending.
This RimWorld 1.5 Anomaly playthrough is played against Randy Random, on Losing is Fun difficulty bumped up to 500% (the maximum).

I'm only 2 hours in, but this has got to be crazier in the last 30 minutes than the entire vampire run. I would have rage quit, well played Adam.
I'm still learning how to play after getting the game 5 years ago. And if my favorite character dies or something happens, I always restart. Or if I hate the map even though I have good pawns... I'm an idiot like that.
Ouch. That was an incredibly rough stream. One thing after the other - and with such comedic timing on the "run wild" breaks and catastrophic surgery failure, too. I was sure that was the end, but you took it like a champ and soldiered on.
Coincidentally, I decided to tackle commitment mode thanks to your streaming! My colony got wiped twice in the space of this stream by consecutive raids, second time for good (devourers) but it was fun!
I don't know if should thank you or curse you? Some of my doom scrolling on RUclips made me find a short of yours, which reminded me you make Rimworld stuff...anyway I have added another 150 hours of Rimworld, between playing and watching you do casually what I still can't do after 1000 hours of playtime. Now bingeing this run lol

Have not played Rimworld since 2018. The speedrun you described, no leaving map and building ship. That was Rimworld for me. :~)
you folks being able to caravan aboot are super spoiled!
Oh and My Rim God, How easy it is to get colonists is crazy. I remember waiting in game years to get prisoners to recruit :~)
Every xenotype has a certain vibe to them, like pigs being insufferable for many reasons. Dirtmoles have always put off the vibe like humble, bullied victims since they don't even have their own faction on the rim.
The playthrough is just proof of that. To be dirtmole is suffering.

she put the wild OverZero back in his own bed right by her side and then went to sleep. she said : "tomorrow my darling, i will tame you back into the colony" and closed her eyes. "Over and Out" , were his last thoughts.
after that, he noticed Matthius has a burning passion for art. so he had him craft art at a station placed right in front of the (ex)baby cribs. Cursed run lol.
I know this was a fun run, but it's still pretty clear fire wrecks the melee blocking method of defense. That's a good lesson. This was highly entertaining, and you are a champ, because Randy went absolutely ham on you.

Only took 15 minutes to turn the dirt mole rom com into a horror flick.
the last catasrophic fail im aware of was in the no walls challenge, not 5 years but still a LONG time
