I purchased a Blackstone 17” electric griddle which I can cook anything from breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I also purchased a Breville Bambino Espresso Machine since I am a bit of a coffee drinker and makes trucking way better!
You should add the Galanz microwave oven to this video. It not only is a microwave but it is also an airfryer, bakes, roasts, and is a conventional oven. It fits perfect in the Freightliner Cascadias and can be purchased at Walmart.
Thank you
Thank you for making this bc I definitely don’t plan to be eating out a whole lot while OTR
I drove for Schneider and always cooked on the road. The lunch box oven was the greatest, I cooked roast, meatloaf, pasta dishes, anything recipe you cooked with a crock pot you can cook in it. I also had a small propane bbq which helped also. You should add a refrigerator, Coleman makes an excellent one that can be plugged into the truck and coffee, fogers makes ground coffee in a bag like tea bags or a French press, coffee is a big expense that these will save money. My dispatcher asked me to write a book about cooking in a truck with recipes when I drove for Schneider but I quite right after. My food expenses at that time was $35 @week cooking in the truch
Can you please describe in detail how you store and clean the items? Also can you break down the coffee part please? I’m new to otr I’ve been local for about two years and really want to focus on eating better and saving money compared to eating Fast food when I first drove OTR.
Thanks! Love the smile!
Just have to shake my head on this one. I know the 18-wheelers are big, however, why fill up the sleeper with all the appliances? You could simply recommend an Instant Pot. The Instant Pot will do everything, to include bake, and cook the hamburger. It also does the slow cooking, and the presser as well.
Nice review 👍
Good ideas!
Glad you think so! Thank you!
17 inch BLACKSTONE best thing I’ve used out of all these others over the years
Do the trucks has enough space for ALL of these items? I am a well experienced Chef, and I do not have use for the half of those, and quite frankly I have all of them. I suggest just the slow cooker SMALL, a good reliable coffee maker and the SMALL electric pan, with them you could do everything, Bake, boil, fry, grill, etc. including but not limited to Soups, tacos, lasagna, cake, pastas, meatloaf, pancakes, pizza, crepes, boil eggs, fried shrimp, etc. etc. etc. your imagination is the limit. I definitively I DO NOT recommend the PRESSURE COOKER, it is too bulky, can cause much accidents. other the people that already has experience with them, and with the coffee pot you also can brew tea to have either cold or hot.
We have quite a bit of room in here. Those are some good ideas but how would you use any of them to cook pasta or shrimp? Like Fettuccine Alfredo
@@RS..1 A good idea is to cook pasta in the slow cooker, high, I help heating the water in advance (or warming in coffee pot), place the pasta with a teaspoon of olive oil up to your preference of tenderness, drain the water and cook as your recipe, add the peeled shrimp at the end, because requires less cook. Enjoy.
Eu aposto
que elas nunca cozinharam em um caminhão
Pressure cookers, especially modern ones are super safe and incredibly useful. Especially in a truck. I love mine and it has become my main appliance.
The second step: cook classes!!
I kept hearing “appliance direct” in my head for some reason. 🤣🤣.
There is no reason you can not cook hamburger in the Lunchbox. Also recommend that you use rolled up foil under the pans so that the bottom doesn't burn.
A hamburger in a lunchbox sounds great. We will have to give that a try. Thanks for the tin foil tip!
Galantz microwave/air fryer, hot pot & a electric skillet
What about a hot plate?
Instant pot duo mini, 3 quart

How do you wash all the appliances? Wipe down? There's no place to wash dishes. Disposable foil pans? So now left with a bunch of trash?
Where do we/I Buy these Cooking Equipment Shown in Video??? Many had ends that plugged into {Like Cigarette Lighter}
Amazon is a great resource for that.
Walmart, Target, Kohl's, Sears, Kmart, has most of them, even in places such as Boscov's, Macy's, Belk's, etc
You don't know where to buy things? How do you own things?
Damn u where's the coffee potty
Who still works for these companies ? 🤣🤦🏼♂️
