In my eyes you are the best because you have the knowledge and choose to share it with us while others just sit on their knowledge. You potentially help change peoples lives and help them make more money than a 9 to 5 by teaching them these skills. You are a bigger deal than you know and what you do here matters a lot to a lot of people even if they never comment, sub or like. Thank you so much for what you do
Thank you so much. I'm so appreciative and I like making these videos for those exact reasons. It's a free software tool that can really help people. When I was learning I found it so confusing and all the settings were difficult. Logos By Nick was the key that made it more accessible and I always wanted to add to the community with more videos, so here we are!
The tutorial is simply Excelent! No comments on that. ONE comment I have on the Interpolate Tool as it simply does NOT want to work as intended. It for SURE creates the lines, but they are simply overlapped over the original ones, not being evenly distributed over the length between. I use Inkscape 1.3.2. Any Ideas would be appreciated. Thanks! EDIT: I Found the Problem! Watch out for EXPONENT value in Inkscape 1.3.2. If you want it to interpolate linearly between two points, set the exponent value to 1.0, and no 0.0. Not sure how it worked in your video, but for me that was definitely the issue.
Loved that one Rick my friend. Reminded me of the old 1982 'Tron' movie with the neon glow on everything! Thanks for showing that filter colouring feature. I hope you and you family Have a great Christmas mate..👍🐺👍
Great tutorials! All I could think of whilst watching this was, "Aurora Borealis comes in view, Aurora comes in view. And I ran. I ran so far away. I just ran. I ran all night and day. Couldn't get away."
Funny that. I was just tweeting about OG Tron being one of my go-to non-Christmas movies during the Christmas period. 😁😁😁 As a child if the 80s, I always loved this graphic. Thanks for the tutorial, Rick. 🙏🏼
both of these tutorials the interpolate doesn't work on my cp. but thank you for the videos. I learn a lot from you.update, I got it to work finally had to install the newest version.
I haven't tried it yet in 1.2. I'll have to test it out. Color Blend seems to have different ideal settings based on whatever project being worked on. I'll have to log on tonight and see.
You need add blender as your expertise. You are great as a teacher. There is a ton of blender great artists, but a handful that have any level of ability to teach.
Thanks so much. I want to learn Blender and I downloaded it to play with it a few years back. My excuse is my computer is too weak to do it right. If I can grow this channel, I'll get a proper setup and get more comfortable with Blender. Thanks again.
You know that, everyone on the youtube know that BUT I must write it: sir, you are an excellent teacher!
Thank you!! I had great teachers and am trying to live up to them.
@@IronEchoDesign And now we have You ;)
I'll do my best, thanks!

Tron is my non-christmas movie 😃
They need a sequel to the sequel!
@@IronEchoDesign I thought a sequel is in the making, and Jared Leto is in it?

Thank you so much!! Love to make these. 🙏
Your ideas very nice

Good.
Thanks!
excellent
Thank you!!!
Im sorry sir i want ask how to open file svg or eps from inkscape to coredraw thanks
what does it mean whe the lines are stacking on top of each other rather than 10 separate lines
for some reason after adding effect "convolve matrix" in filter editor the image becomes invisible. Might need to play around some settings
I know what you mean. That filter is finicky!
Hi Rick, I'm a bit lost icw the Color Blend and Convolve Matrix ito version 1,2? Why do I need 1.6 in the centre of the matrix to make it work?
I haven't tried it yet in 1.2. I'll have to test it out. Color Blend seems to have different ideal settings based on whatever project being worked on. I'll have to log on tonight and see.
@@IronEchoDesign Appreciate it! Thanks.

Haha! 80s had the best hits.
I literally just commented the same song before seeing your comment. 😂
"Tronish" / "Star Warsy" / etc. In other words COOL MAN! How about that for an 80s saying.
Thank you!
